    Petit appartement parfait

    Tout était parfait dans cet appartement récemment rénové. La cuisine manque un peu d’équipement mais est très fonctionnelle et moderne.La chambre est grande et le lit très confortable.Les deux terrasses, un à l’avant et une à l’arrière agrandissent l’espace de vie.L’appartement est au 3 e étage d’un petit hôtel. Le personnel de l’hôtel a été très accueillant et gentil. Il faut mentionner que l’ascenseur se rend uniquement au 2e étage.L’appartement est situé en plein cœur de la zone active de Ostia et à une dizaine de minutes de marche de la gare…pratique pour une visite à Rome durant une journée si on se fatigue de la plage.Mon seul commentaire concerne la ville de Ostia…nous avons vraiment eu l’impression que la ville est en déclin. Les rues sont pleines de graffitis et de nombreux commerces sont fermés. Si on cherche autre chose à faire que la plage, il faut en sortir.

    Lovely penthouse with sea view, Ostia near Rome

    We were staying 10 days, so didn’t want to stay in the heart of Rome with the hectic pace of a big city, so checked out beach resorts nearby and Ostia ticked all the boxes. Don’t get me wrong it is around an hours travel into Rome by Metro then train depending in what you wanted to see that day but it was definitely worth it. The apartment has all you need for your holiday with lovely hosts where nothing is a problem to them as they are there when you need them. I would really recommend a visit.
