Lovely flat pleasethe bin lock code

Great location and a lovely flat with great parking. I discovered that the lock code had been changed when trying to access the bin shelter… so I had to put the bin bags in the car and take them home… I left a note in the flat for the cleaning staff to pass on so hopefully this will be resolved for the next guests.

6/10 Okay

Not the standard of last year!

Location Ensure the locks on all internal doors into flats (not the main property entrance) are well maintained. During our 42 hour stay someone had to come and work on the lock twice . . . the second time at 10pm - not very satisfactory! We then had problems exiting the flat as we were leaving - this could have been a major issue if there had been an emergency during the night. A situation that definitely needs dealing with!

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologise for the issues you experienced with the internal door locks during your stay, especially the inconvenience caused by the late-night repair and the difficulties exiting the flat. Guest safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we take this matter very seriously. We are already addressing the lock maintenance to ensure this does not happen again. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Short Stay St Andrews under better circumstances. Best regards, The Short Stay St Andrews Team
