An ideal holiday home

Penyrorsedd is in an ideal location to see both Anglesey and north Wales. The view out of the main window, or from the garden, overlooking Snowdonia is stunning. The layout of the property was ideal for us as you could have your own space if needed. As other reviews have commented, the only let down was the rusting table and chairs on the patio, its a shame to see AHL haven't taken on board the feedback from previous reviews to improve this.

Home from home...

We had a lovely stay at Penyrorsedd, great location, out of all the touristy hustle bustle but near enough to see all Anglesey has to offer. Perfect view from the living room window, stretching across to the Snowdonian range, just beautiful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, the bedding and towels crisp white. Few minor issues that we advised AHL know about on departure... All in all, lovely cottage, if you want peace and quiet, good location this one is for you.

Real 5 star property

This a fantastic cottage and everything was high quality. We had a lovely week and the cottage was perfect for two of us and our little dog, with lots of space outside (note - garden not secure for dogs) and very quiet area. Great cottage for families too as there were swings in the garden and a game console in a separate room. Also it should say 4 bedrooms as there was a small child’s room not in the description. Lovely thoughtful welcome pack although we only got left one bar of guest soap, and we didn’t bring our own handwash as there is usually some in every bathroom in other cottages we’ve stayed in (since Covid). This was a small inconvenience rather than a negative. Beds firm but comfy and felt like hotel quality. The large bath was so luxurious after a day walking. The view from the lounge (and garden) was spectacular and so nice to wake up to every day. We would definitely stay again.

Spacious home in the perfect location

We knew this house was big from the photos, but it is much bigger and more spacious than we thought. But the size of the place does not take away from the character and comfort of this home. Kitchen was spectacular, with so much storage space in the many cupboards and drawers and we spent most of our time in there. Our dog loved chasing a ball in the huge garden and we loved having a morning coffee on the double swing seat. Comfortable beds and couch. Finally the views from the lounge were stunning.

Excellent accommodation and facilities with a lovely big garden and great views. Well worth a visit

Excellent accommodation and facilities with a lovely big garden and great views. Plenty of toys for the Grandchildren to play with and swings in the garden. Within easy reach of all Resorts and Attractions and not far to the local village. Definitely recommend it and hope to stay again

Holiday with a view

A good location to explore the island and if needed north wales as well. The accommodation is of a high standard and well equipped. The grounds are well kept and the view over the north wales mountains beautiful. I would look at booking again and enjoy the relaxing position the accommodation is in.

Beautiful House with Amazing Views

A truly wonderful property. Modern, clean and comfortable. Fantastic gardens just let down by the rusting table and chairs. We would definitely visit again.

Five * at Star

Booked at short notice, for a short break with elderly parents. Ideal as all on one level.Excellent accommodation, ( excellent welcome pack too!). We have stayed at many self catering places across the UK, this was outstanding, parents were especially delighted. The view from the lounge and front bedroom was stunning - ever changing with the weather( take your binocs). All rooms / facilities very tasteful and to a high spec. A bonus was the luxury bath( huge )! Lovely garden area, if I was extra picky I would give the front hedges a light trim to improve the view from the swing seat, and the outdoor table and chairs have seen better days, probably in need of replacement You do need a car, not a problem for us. 5-10 minutes drive to Llanfair PG, Menai Bridge and very easy to get to anywhere across Angelsey. Would definitely recommend, and happily revisit at a future date

Fabulous Holiday Bungalow

My Sister and I (two very discerning Seniors) spent a wonderful week at Penyrorsedd. Every single comfort has been thought of in fittings and fixtures. Extremely comfortable beds and sofa's, fully equipped kitchen and a view to die for with the ever changing views of the mountain range; and let's not forget the haven of the well maintained wrap-around garden. The very best holiday bungalow we have ever stayed at over the many years we have been visiting our special place, the Island of Anglesey. We were sorry to leave and hope to return again very soon. We hugely recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a luxurious place to stay while on holiday on Anglesey. Jean, Maureen and Furbies

Well located fabulous property

Brilliant weeks stay at Penyrorsedd, well located for exploring Anglesey, stunning garden & views, all I would comment is that being ‘fully enclosed’ was challenging with lots of low walls/ and gaps particularly under the driveway gate, didn’t work for our pooch with sheep opposite too, as a younger dog interested in everything so we had to keep her on a lead for all aspects within the garden, wouldn’t let that put you off as it’s such a fabulous property! Excellent facilities everything you could need and more!

Fantastic property in a beautiful location

Penyrorsedd is a fantastic property in a great location on Anglesey with amazing views over Snowdon. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay with 2 young children. The kitchen was very well equipped and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The garden was beautiful; the kids particularly enjoyed the three separate swings and it was handy to have buckets and spades so we didn't have to take any with us. The family bathroom was great, with a walk in shower and huge bath. It was really handy to have two ensuites and a separate toilet in addition - no queuing for the toilet required! We would definitely stay at Penyrorsedd again in the future!

Fantastic place to stay

The bungalow has a fantastic outlook so even if the weather isn’t perfect you still feel you are somewhere special. It is ideal for two couples sharing as there is lots of room and three bathrooms. Very comfortable and plenty of space. We had a problem with a blocked drain and the letting agency sent someone out the next day. Very good service. The only disappointment was the outdoor table and chairs. They were quite rusty and not inviting at all so we didn’t use them. Definitely could do with a replacement. Need to bring your own dishwasher tablets as they only provide enough for three washes. Would stay again if returning to Anglesey!
