About this property

The Coach House

The Coach House is a large self catered cottage. This building was originally a stable and cart house with the stable hands sleeping upstairs.

The Coach House has 4 spacious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bath/shower room, comprising of two super-king double rooms, one twin bedded room and one bunk bedded room.

There is plenty of space for an extra bed or cot in one of the super-king double bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 9 people.

The newly refurbished lounge area is modern and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating (Updated photos to follow soon). The large, well lit kitchen has a range cooker, large fridge, freezer and also a large ash dining table which has plenty of room to seat everyone around for those special family meals.

The lawn to the front and side of the cottage is the perfect place to have a barbecue or dine outside on the garden furniture.

Our short breaks run Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday. During the summer school holidays we only accept full week bookings with changeover day on Fridays. During off peak season we can accept short breaks of 2 to 6 nights commencing on each day of the week.

Lovely place to stay

This was our third stay at Portclew Cottages, in a different cottage each time, and we loved the Coach House. It was spacious, very well equipped and a relaxing place to stay. The family who run it are lovely and always quick to respond if there is anything you need.

A good value for money holiday let . Needs a bit of updating but well located for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast . Some information about local pubs and use of oven and heating would be useful in the Guest Folder

Superb Accommodation

Beautifully presented accommodation with all the necessary kitchen equipment and utensils/towels/bedding etc provided. The whole site seemed well laid out with plenty of space allocated to each property. I know we visited at a quiet time of the year but the silence was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly book again when we are back in Lamphey.

We actually extended our stay because the Coach House is delightful!

We’ve enjoyed staying at Portclew House over the years, in the lovely Georgian BnB lodge and in most of the self-catering cottages as our needs changed. The property is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The beds and baths are excellent. Sarah and family are the perfect hosts and we will continue to return with pleasure.

Amazing Houses

The coach house is absolutely perfect, 4 fine bedrooms with ensuites + toilet downstairs, fine big sitting room and separate big kitchen, everything you could need in a house is there and the Family that run the houses are so nice and friendly. Within 20-30 minute drove from all the sites and attractions you could want to visit, beach just down the road. Thanks for an amazing stay. We will be back in the future.

2 week break with extended family

We stayed with a large family group for 2 weeks. Property was nice and clean and well presented. Nice large kitchen and a separate living room with 3 sofas so plenty of space. It was a bonus to have an en-suite for each bedroom. Beds very comfy. The owners were friendly and ready to answer any queries.

Very comfortable stay

Perfect for our extended family over a long weekend. Clean, warm and comfortable. A few extra basics like shower gel and S&P in kitchen would have been nice and fan in twin room could be cleaned. But overall we were very happy indeed. Thank you
