    Another great stay at Oak Lodge

    This was our families 3rd stay at Oak Lodge. We had a lovely time once again and our kids were already asking when we can go back again. The lodge has everything you need and the hot tub is a great extra. Great location and very private.

    Our third and final stay! Main bedroom/ensuite stinks of drains clearly an ongoing issue since our

    last stay in Jan 2025! Hot tub cold and heavily chlorinated! Place looks tired and worn, disappointing!

    Thank you for your review, Maintenance will be performed in March for this property. It was completely renovated only 2 years ago and was a brand new property in 2019. The compromise to renting properties at the end of the season is substantially cheaper rates but properties will not be in perfect show home condition. Hot tub was refilled and as the property has a hot tap it would have been close to operating temperature for your arrival and would not have taken long to reach max temperature using the internal heater. We check and record the chlorine levels. It was within guidelines. If you get a smell of drains in any property all you need to do is run the water, the smell will go away when the water trap is refilled. All part of standard plumbing. Thank you for allowing us to clarify your comments.

    Wow Factor

    Not cheap but you very much get what you pay for. The first words out of all of our mouths were 'wow' and 'Stunning'. No expense spared on the lodge, fabulous location with amazing views and everything was spotless, including the hot tub. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay

    A great escape!

    This is our 4th year in a row and we just love it. A fabulous place right on our doorstep. Just a great place to get together and absolutely chill with friends. So our group of 4 friends have decided to go twice a year now and have booked another stay in November. Plus I've also booked an extra weekend to take my 85 year old Mum and my sisters. I have recommended it to lots of people and my sister has been going with her group of friends for a couple of years too and rebook each year. Another friend goes with her work colleagues annually after I recommended it. No one has been disappointed. They have all loved it.

    Oak Lodge is a great cottage

    Beautiful modern cottage with a stunning outlook over the fields and hills. Well looked after by the owner Dave and his team led by Angie, who are on hand to help with any queries. Hot tub is a must! Bring your swimming trunks!

    2nd visit.

    This was our 2nd visit to the cottages, absolutely amazing cottages. Loved the hot tub. Lady in office so friendly and welcoming. Cottage was beautiful, loved the views from windows across the countryside. Walks as soon as you come out of gate, 5min down drive and you are on loch lomond. Will be back.

    Relaxing family staycation

    Stayed here for the second time with our two kids and had a great time. The lodge is well kitted out and has a lovely cosy atmosphere. The kids loved the hot tub and making their own fire. The horses on the farm are a lovely addition too and the kids loved going to visit them. Close to lots of amenities and will look forward to booking again.

    Fantastic location and amazing lodge

    A fantastic short stay at this lodge. It is well laid out, comfortable, clean, well presented and and has everything you could need. Great location for days out. The view is stunning and just watching the weather roll in over the hills/loch is captivating...it changes so quickly!. Fantastic enjoyable stay.

    Excellent Accommodation

    This is our 3rd time staying at Auchendennan farm and 2nd time in Oak Lodge. The place is so peaceful but plenty surrounding you only 5 mins drive to pubs, 10 mins to shops so the best of both worlds. Perfect countryside out of your window and walks on the doorstep The lodge is of a high standard and has everything for a perfect stay. We had problems getting the sky tv to work and Angela was with us within 5 minutes of the call and sorted it straight away. A perfect location and wonderful lodge and we will be returning again.

    I have stayed at this farm before but a different lodge. It was very peaceful & very relaxing. The hot tub & log fires are such a lovely touch. The hot tub at this lodge does benefit from having a canopy so if the weather is wet you can still use it. That is a huge factor for me as so many places have hot tubs but no shelter which you don't always get the use of if the weather is bad. I recommend this lodge and rate it 10/10.

    An amazing Christmas break away!

    This was our second visit to Auchendennan Farm cottages but our first time staying in Oak Lodge. This lodge was perfect. They literally have everything. We took our son this time and even he loved it. The wood fire and hot tub is just amazing and it even had a lovely Christmas tree adding to the festive cheer. Already planning our next visit!
