Gosling Cottage in Kendal, Cumbria sleeps two guests in one bedroom.

Gosling Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with and electric oven, hot plate hobs, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and dining seating for two people and a sitting room with a Smart TV and woodburning stove. The bedroom is a king-size zip/link which can be a twin upon request. Outside there is a shared front garden with a gravelled area and path. Please note there is no parking available next to the property, please park on the main road (one hour parking) for loading/unloading and walk 90 yards to the house. Some free on street parking available close by. Long stay ( 24-hour) parking is available close by (approximately £2 per day). One well-behaved pet welcome at this property but sorry, no smoking. Within 0.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.1 mile you will find a pub. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Gosling cottage is a wonderful choice for your getaway together in the Lake District. Note: The garden is not enclosed and is shared with the neighbour. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby, as are limestone escarpments for easy walking, offering thrilling views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills and Morecambe Bay. Kendal itself is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. With other attractions such as Kendal Museum and the Museum of Lakeland Life, the fascinating Quaker Tapestry, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park within easy reach, Kendal provides a superb base for a relaxing break. Kendal Castle and the River Kent are just a few minutes walk from the property. Kendal Train Station is a 5 Minute Walk and the main Bus Station is an 8 Minute walk.
