Pictures looked better than actual:( Smelled musty and mildew upon entrance. Tried to vacuum upon arrival as the area rug was noticeably dirty with lint and hair…vacuum did not work well as it was broken and taped up. Washing machine had mold on the seal. Mold areas in the bathroom and around window. Could not open windows because scaffolding and plastic covering all windows because of outside work being done. Workers and plaster dust around outside on scaffolding so even if could open windows, it would not be safe or private. No “heads up” regarding work being done before arrival from host. Accommodation was dark because of construction material outside and light fixtures had some burned out bulbs. Mentioned to host the first day of some of the problems and got quick response that they will look into but did not hear anything back as follow up after, other than to make sure we check out before 10:00am…5 days later.
