About this property
A town house that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
A luxurious conversion of a boatyard's sail loft, this property is now an attractive 3-bedroom 2-bathroom holiday home close to the centre of the old fishing village of Emsworth and its picturesque harbour. The Old Sail Loft offers a perfect holiday to escape the stress of your day to day lives and an excellent base from which to explore the many attractions in the area.
At the ground floor level there are two spacious double bedrooms and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Upstairs there is an open plan living and dining area where the charm and character of this unique building has been retained through the full exposure of its original ‘king post' timber wood trusses. The original wooden hoisting block remains on a gantry crane above the Juliet Balcony. There is a 77" OLED flatscreen TV in the living space to watch your favourite programmes, relaxing in the comfort of large soft sofas. The master bedroom, on the same level, is another spacious bedroom with a super king size double bed and ensuite bathroom with the option of shower or bath.
The kitchen has everything you need with an oven & hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, cutlery and a Krups coffee machine. You will feel very much at home during your stay.
Emsworth is a picturesque village on the shores of Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and at the edge of the South Downs National Park. The village is celebrated for its historic architecture, thriving shops, and a variety of quality dining options. Country loving enthusiasts will appreciate the many coastal and downland walking trails, cycle routes, marine and shore wildlife and the rich birdlife habiting surrounding wetlands. Emsworth provides a tranquil escape within a vibrant, self-sufficient, marine oriented local community
