This cosy single-storey cottage is a perfect setting for a romantic escape for two. Sun Hill Palins is well located outside of Leyburn on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the cottage is part of Sun Hill Farm.

In a charming setting, the inside features the original stone which is exposed in areas and an open-plan living and kitchen area with a log burner. Settle into the sofa together in front of a film, or in the warmer months after a day's exploring, sit in the garden (just a short stroll along the drive) and watch horses train from Sun Hill Racing stables. From Sun Hill Palins, easily explore the nearby towns Leyburn, Middleham, and Bedale, as well as the Yorkshire Dales National Park which is a short drive away.

Very comfortable, but our impression was it was more suitable for a couple of days than a week. It is quiet, interesting with the racehorses working around you, and close to easy walks.
