Escape in Rosignano Hills

This charming holiday home is set within an ancient mill dating back to the early 1500s, surrounded by a large private fenced park of approximately 8,000 m². Immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and close to the sea, the property has been carefully restored to preserve its original structure and historic character.

The holiday home is located on the ground floor, is completely independent from the rest of the building, and offers 95 m² of comfortable living space. It features a spacious living room with a fireplace and satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet, and bidet. The kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, 4-burner hob, oven, dishwasher, and a full set of crockery and accessories.

The private entrance opens directly onto an exclusive-use garden enriched with aromatic Mediterranean plants. Guests can enjoy a large barbecue area, as well as free parking adjacent to the holiday home. The accommodation is suitable for up to four guests, and one pet is welcome.

The property is conveniently located 30 km from Pisa Airport, 16 km from the Rosignano Marittimo exit of the A12 motorway, and 1.7 km from the S.R. 206. The sea is easily reachable, with Castiglioncello at 14 km, the sandy beaches of Vada and Mazzanta at 17 km, and the Bau Beach of Gorette di Cecina at 21 km. The Santa Luce nature reserve and lake are just 6.6 km away. Shops and restaurants are available in nearby towns such as Gabbro, Castelnuovo della Misericordia, Nibbiaia, Rosignano Marittimo, and Rosignano Solvay.

We had a wonderful stay and really great holidyas in this house! I think it was the most beautiful quarters i've ever been on vacation. You will also love the history of this restored watermill (you can find some old pictures and descriptions in a folder)! Our welcome was warm and nice and Giovanni speaks a perfect english! The house is about 10 minutes away from the next town Gabbro but the location is lovely! You can have private moments here, no one is around except the landlord sometimes on the weekends. They are nice people which helped if we had any questions and brught us some fresh fruits from the garden around the house! We enjoyd the sunrises on the terrace and the wild nature. Our dogs loved it, too and they could stay outside all day long. In about 25-30 min you can reach the beach or Livorno for shopping or for example dinner (which you also can have in the smaller villages nearby). If you are on your way to Pisa, Volterra or Florence, you can marvel at the fantastic landscape of the tuscany. Especially the privacy gave us the rash to book and we did not regret a thing! There could have been a bit more kitchen accessories but we had everything we needed! If there were not so much to see in the world, we would definitely come back! But who knows??? )

Het huisjes staat midden in de natuur. Als je rust wilt en geen drukte van massa toerisme is dit perfect. Wij hebben enorm genoten van de omgeving en de ruime tuin. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk. Komen af en toe langs voor onderhoud en brachten een paar keer verse tomaten en komkommers uit hun eigen tuin mee. Mocht er iets zijn, dan kan je ze goed bereiken. Ook geven ze leuke tips wat je in de omgeving kan doen. De vakantie is voor herhaling vatbaar
