The apartment is renovated from an old attic located in an art nouveau building. The owners have transformed it into an elegant attic equipped with all comforts. The décor is characterized by the right balance between modern and old that makes it friendly and allows you to enjoy a pleasant stay for all your needs.
The apartment overlooks the famous medieval walls that enclose the old city, within walking distance and easy reach on foot or by bicycle.
It consists of two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living room with adjoining kitchen and a loft with a sofa bed.
It also comes with free wifi internet access, satellite TV, DVD and air conditioning.
The kitchen is fully equipped and linen service is included.
From the apartment you can reach the city centre in just five minutes walk.
It is walking distance from the railway and bus station (200 m).
The apartment is easily reachable from the motorway and has a public car park nearby with charging station for electric cars (distance 100 m 8€ 24 hours). It is currently free until December 31st.

At just twenty minutes away are the beaches of Verisilia. In addition to Viareggio, famous for its carnival, Forte dei Marmi is a Mecca for lovers of shopping and nightlife.

Those who prefer to relax and want to get away from the bustle of the city, Montecatini offers spas.

The art cities of Pisa (17km) and Florence (75 km) are a must for anyone staying in Tuscany.

Amazing host!

Location perfect, just a quick stroll down from the train station, short walk into the walled city (across the street). Walk for groceries, dinner and sightseeing. Host and her family wonderful! (Special thank you to Valentina for helping our grown kids experience fun in Lucca!💕) There are a lot of stairs to get in. If you are unable to do that, this is not the location for you. But for everyone else, stay here!!! Probably favorite vrbo ever!! Thank you Renata!! Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!

Wonderful stay at Lucca!

It was our 5th stay in this beautiful apartment. The apartment is beautiful decorated and furnished. It is well equipped and very clean. You can reach the historic Lucca wall and the historic center in a short walk. The hosts are very gentle and helpful. We enjoyed our holidays very much. Thanks a lot again to Renata and family. Short break in Lucca

The apartment is brilliantly located just outside the city walls, but within a very short walk to the nearest gate into Lucca. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Communication with Renata was fantastic. She was very helpful before we arrived and met us at the apartment - so warm and friendly :) She was on hand with questions during our stay, and her daughter kindly helped us with taxis. I would highly recommend the apartment and we will come back.

A little bit of luxury in Lucca

Utterly wonder stay in Lucca. Apartment is beautiful - comfortable, cosy but with lots of stylish extras! Location is outstanding and hôtesse was welcoming, warm and gave us excellent trips! This is a place I’d return to, something I don’t often say!

Excellent base

Really spacious and well equipped apartment. There were only two of us but there was more than enough room for four. It was only a five minute walk to inside the city walls and having parking was great as we had driven from Umbria. Whilst staying at the apartment though, we didn't need to use the car at all which was wonderful after a lot of traveling. Renata and her son met us at the apartment and were so helpful. They also gave us lots of excellent advice and tips. Highly recommended.

The loft was clean and as described. The location was convenient to get to and from the train for day trips but yet had easy access to the core of Lucca. Our host was communicative and welcoming. Perfect location for an amazing holiday in Lucca

Our stay at Casa Emma has been by far the best apartment rental experience we’ve had. From our initial communications at the time of booking to the greeting at the front door (and all the helpful info shared about Lucca and its surroundings) to our final good-bye, Renata and family were the most excellent hosts. The apartment is very well equipped, with all of the little things thought of in advance, and is very much a home away from home. We stayed for one week but wished we could have extended our stay. Lucca and Casa Emma were so much more than we expected, and we can’t wait to return to both!

The beautiful design in a historic district was perfect for our needs. It’s location is easily walkable from bus and train stations. It’s view of the wall is spectacular in day and night lightning. Lovely apartment in great location

We loved staying at this very comfortable apartment in beautiful Lucca. Renata and her son met us on arrival with a lovely homemade cake. They were very welcoming and provided lots of useful information. The apartment was perfect for our family of four, it was well equipped and in a great location with easy access to a public car park (if needed) and a short walk into the old centre of Lucca. The train station was a 10 minute walk and so visiting other places such as Florence and Pisa was simple to do. We had a fabulous time and would gladly stay there again if we return to the area.

A lovely apartment just outside the walls of Lucca. Our stay was just perfect in every way.

The accommodations were quaint, clean & comfortable in every respect. Renata was so helpful & attentive to us throughout our stay. We were directly across the street from the wall which was so convenient. Our time there ( 2 weeks) was easy, relaxing & enjoyable. I would highly recommend this apartment for 2-4 people traveling. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms
