5 day trip to Lucca, amazing Apartment!

Very stylish accommodation with everything you could ask for. Loads of room and living space. Bedrooms were lovely too. Just a leaky shower, but didn’t cause us any problems.

We had a wonderful time. The location was good and the apartment was modern and comfortable. The stairs were a challenge with our luggage but the staff thankfully helped us! Highly recommend!

Amazing penthouse

Great corner unit, all as described and photographed. The property manager is excellent. Recently renovated and all appliances are new. On a quiet side street 50 yards from a square where one can be dropped off. Perfect launch point for exploring Lucca.

Beautiful Lucca

We had an amazing family holiday in Lucca over the Christmas break, for a family of 5 with adult children accompanying us the Casa Lucky was just perfect with lots of space, a good kitchen, laundry and three bathrooms! We loved it and felt very at home here. Our host was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location! The only downfall to this apartment was the heating wasn't working properly. The host did their best to try and fix it and accommodate us. It would have been nice if this was done before arrived but it wasn't a problem. One more thing to mention is that I was disappointed to receive an email in regards to a broken lamp and mention of glass being shattered after we checked out. This was definitely not us as firstly I would have noticed the glass shattered and secondly we had video proof in the very first hour of our excited arrival of the entire apartment and in this footage you can see that the lamp was already broken. The host was kind and accepted my response and didn't charge us for any damage however I feel I should make a point that the host needs to check the apartment thoroughly and make note of any damages before the next guests arrive to make sure they aren't questioning the future guests of damage. This was a little bit stressful but was resolved well.

Casa Lucky was a great apartment! The apartment slept 6 easily and each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was great. The place is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Lucca is a small town that is very walkable, so nothing is very far away, but even still the apartment is incredibly well located. The air conditioning was a lifesaver as the July days were very hot. The apartment is on the top floor, so up a few flights of stairs. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. We had an amazing stay!

The best stay in Lucca

We loved the accommodations- our kids actually picked it out for the uniqueness of the glass hallway. Yea it was a bit of a hike up the stairs and it was hard with the luggage’s, but once you get inside it was large, quiet and beautiful. Very spacious, kitchen had everything you need including a Moka to make coffee. It was also a huge plus to have had a dryer in the unit. We had a small issue with water drainage in the showers son the first day but they took care of it right away. The host was very responsive. The location of the apartment was very close to the entrance to Lucca and it was within a 15 min walk from the train station. The air conditioner was awesome. We really enjoyed our stay especially the kids

What a find!

What a find! This was our fourth visit to lovely Lucca, and undoubtedly the best accommodation by far. Exquisite taste throughout, modern whilst being classy, fabulous use of the space, and extremely comfortable. My son particularly liked the mezzanine bedroom, he felt he had his own apartment up there. If anything, it was nicer in reality than in the photos (pictures made the sofa rather turquoise, when it is a tasteful grey!). The location is absolutely perfect, just off via Croce, and only a ten minute walk from the railway station. Chiara looked after us extremely well. We soon found our favourite local pasticceria and restaurants. Cannot recommend this highly enough.

The perfect sty in the perfect location

First of all, the staff at Lucca Apartments and Villas was outstanding. They were in constant contact before arrival, so there were no surprises. They made sure we understood how to work everything in the apartment. The apartment itself was a dream. Super clean, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in Italy, every need met. That washing machine and dryer was a welcome sight. Wonderfully decorated like a home. Bedside reading lights. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was, inside and out. I will recommend this organization to everyone I know going to Lucca. The stairwells were very dirty in the main house area, not the apartment.

Dreamy Lucca

We loved the location of this home. It was super quiet all day and especially at night. We loved the style of decor for the home. For our group of 4 adults and 2 kids the set up was wonderful. We each had our own space and there was enough seating in the living room for all of us. We also loved having a washer and dryer for our clothes and towels. For the kitchen, having olive oil, salt and pepper would be nice. More toilet paper, laundry detergent and dish towels could be given. During November, having a coat rack at the entrance would be nice. The double bed upstairs was very hard and my husband could not well. The hallway light going up the stairs only worked once and so it was very dark at night. We had to use our cell phones to light our path. This could be dangerous and should be fixed.

Excellent apartment located within the Walls of Lucca

We have visited Lucca many times before and either stayed outside the Walls or stayed in a hotel. This time adult children and their spouses were flying in to Italy from various locations to meet up with us, so we needed a larger space. Casa Lucky is a large Penthouse with 3-bedrooms and 3-baths. It was perfect for our trip. Amenities in Casa Lucky were fantastic. A larger refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A nice surprise was a clothes washer and a dryer all in their own laundry room! Washers may be normal in most Italy apartment rentals, but a dryer is an added bonus. We slept on comfortable beds with what appeared to us, to have new linens. The apartment has AC in each room with its own controls-a much appreciated feature! The internet worked perfectly and we were able to stream Netflix and YouTube from using our personal accounts. The location is walkable to many of the historic cathedrals , the Amphitheater, restaurants and markets. Located off a main street, the apartment was quiet and had little traffic. The Property management is very organized and responsive. We loved having a Handbook that detailed not only about Casa Lucky's amenities, but also provided additional information regarding grocery stores, restaurants, sites to visit, all appreciated information to make our stay enjoyable. The pricing is spot-on for this accommodation and considering the amenities within the apartment, the cost is a real bargain! No improvements that we can think of.

The apartment is very impressive when you first walk in the front door. It has been remodeled very well on the first floor with plenty of room, great decor and very nice modern kitchen. We had six adults. My partner and I were relegated to the third bedroom upstairs because it had twin beds. Unfortunately, the ceiling was so low for my six feet height that I was constantly bumping my head on the low roof ceiling rafters. This room should only be used to children who are no taller than five feet tall. Even at that height they would still have to bend down to dodge the ceiling rafters. The shower in that bathroom is smaller that the one I had on my first cruise many years ago. To make things worse, the hot water system would not regulate correctly. Only "one" person could shower at a time. If someone in one of the other bathrooms, or in the kitchen turned on the hot water, the person taking the shower would only have cold water ... not a good way to spend their holiday! I must say the management company representatives were very helpful and did everything they could when we called them.

This home by far has been the most comfortable/comforting

Our family of 5 with teens and a tween felt pampered with the quality and luxury of this home. We have stayed in Airbnbs for 5 months now as we travel Europe and this home by far has been the most comfortable/comforting. The furnishings are true home furnishings and in excellent condition- not the typical IKEA/temporary furniture. The linens were wonderful and every room was spotless and felt brand new. The location was perfect- walkable to markets, shops, restaurants, and the train station yet no noise. The kitchen was missing nothing for a family of 5 to cook and dine here. The owner and team went above and beyond and decorated the home for Christmas as this was where we decided to spend the holiday. We are so appreciative of that and all of the recommendations of markets, restaurants, bike rentals, and activities. We wish we would’ve stayed the month. The town and home are both treasures- do not hesitate to book this sweet spot.
