Great stay for golf trip

8 of us were coming to the area to play golf and hangout and this was a great house for us. We mostly just needed somewhere to stay as we weren’t going to be spending much time at home. This house was conveniently located, clean & comfortable. It also has lots of outdoor deck seating which was nice.

Beautiful house with amazing views of Salt Pond and close to the beach and nature trails!

Very peaceful way to share a home in Bethany Beach with your family. Lots of rooms and separate spaces for everyone.

Perfect for our family

This home is in a beautiful setting with lovely furnishings and enough space for our family of 11. The kitchen was well-supplied. Many local activities and restaurants are available for the young folks.

Great Place For Family

We loved our stay at the house! It was so nice for all of us to be together but have our own spaces. House was just like all of the pictures. The house was just a short drive from the beach and boardwalk, which was very nice. Highly recommend!

The views are stunning !

We enjoyed taking pictures on the decks. The sky, trees and the pond were a wonderful combination ! The house was spacious. We enjoyed our family vacation .

Solid Place to Stay

The house was a little dated and could benefit from a renovation and fresh paint. The nearest beach access was a short drive into town. Quiet neighborhood off the main street. Overall good place to stay for a weekend.

A beautiful week

We truly enjoyed our week at Salt Pond. The outdoor decks are just perfect and the house itself was clean and had everything we needed. A beautiful, quiet place to relax with the family and we did just that. Thank you!

Great For A Girls’ Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bethany weekend at this home! There was ample space, great decks, and super close to all that Bethany, Dewey, and Rehobeth have to offer! The owner was super responsive, though we just had one question about a light switch! We had a lovely time and would recommend this location!

Great to be able to have open communication with host. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, gated community. Lots of stairs! We enjoyed the coffee views every morning. The location of the home was great too, short drive to all the local spots. We enjoyed our stay!

RELAXING

Family shore getaway. So relaxing! Beautiful hone with such a lovely view of the salt pond and short drive to beach. Watching the Osprey nest with out 2 year old granddaughter wonderful! Phyllis was a great host and so helpful with grocery store and restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Great house for an extended family getaway!

We had a great stay celebrating my mother in law’s 70th birthday over the Labor Day weekend with guests from 4-70 and multiple generations. Plenty of space, great views of the salt pond from the deck and a well stocked kitchen. The house is well loved so some items could stand to be updated (broken shower door, sink handle, sliding door locks, etc), but it is a great house and made for a great stay. Thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful home but no Wifi?!?

The home is truly lovely - modern, clean, spacious and plenty of room for 2 families. The pictures do the home justice too. The main room (kitchen, living area) is fabulous and the balcony for evening dinners is so lovely. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, pots/pans, etc. The location is great too as its a short drive to the beach. My issues were as follows: 1) there is no Wifi. In this day/age, if professionals are expected to rent this home for a week, being able to have access to the internet for work is important. This alone would prevent me from renting again. 2) providing paper towels and toilet paper just seems like an inexpensive way to make renters happy. None are provided. And 3) the owner was nice enough but after we left, suggested we took the key and parking pass (the latter we received in the first place), threatened to stop payment on our returned security deposit and then charge us the bank fee to do so. Ultimately, the key/parking pass had been taken by the housekeeper. So in the end, a lovely home but the issues listed above are enough for me not to rent again.

Great place for Thanksgiving

We were a group of 9 adults (6 staying at this property) getting together for Thanksgiving. It was a fantastic house for our group! The open layout allowed us all to hang together in spite of the fact that some were cooking, some were working a puzzle or playing board games, and some were watching soccer. The kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed, the table was big enough for everyone comfortably, and even though only 6 of us slept here, we could have easily all slept in this house. I hope to be able to replicate the experience next year.

Wonderful location

A beautiful easy home to stay with family at multiple levels. The Delaware beach is so close as are so many opportunities for fresh fish and farmers markets. So much nicer than the distant subdivisions or the Dewy Beach party homes. Thank you!

Best Annual Beach Stay in Years!

We had a wonderful time at this beach house. From the start the listing was accurate and the property owner was available and attentive. Having friends in the Bethany area, we found the location extremely well placed to get to the beach and other venues. The porch views of the pond behind the development were amazing. We spent many hours playing cards on the deck and watching the birds. The community is quiet and the neighbors were friendly and accommodating.
