This modified Windjammer model cottage has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Two bedrooms and an updated shower bath (without a tub) are on each side of a remodeled and updated kitchen. Living room, dining room, extra large front screened porch and huge Florida room in the back create one floor living with 3 separate conversation areas. The back yard is decked and fenced on ground level for small children. there is an outside shower and a storage shed with bikes, umbrellas and beach chairs. which you can use at your own risk.

The home is comfortably decorated and has everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation including full washer and dryer. This house is 0.8 miles from the beach and adults can walk in 20 minutes. Biking is easy and the Bethany Beach shuttle offers a free ride to the beach! Two parking passes for beach parking are included. You can buy weekly pool passes for 2 pools, tennis and pickle ball.
Please, no groups of young people under 21!

Code enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00pm-8:00am. Renters and their guests assume responsibility for their actions on the property.

There is no daily cleaning. Rent covers the cleaning when you leave. Remember to bring linens, towels, food, soaps and paper products!!

2 parking passes for the beach areas are provided. Lock your car when you use the pass. Passes must be returned to avoid a $100 charge.

Great place for a Family Trip

Great stay. Home was beautiful and comfortable for adults and kids. Very nice and ample shared space for families from the porch to the living room, kitchen, dining and back sun room. Lots of space!

The house was much bigger than I even imagined and enabled everyone to spread out and not feel like they were on top of each other. The outdoor space was private and cozy, and the indoor space was comfortable and met all of our needs, I especially like the set up of this house for my elderly parents who only needed to navigate three steps to get in. Great for familes/large groups- loved the screened porch and open living areas!

This is a really nice place with two large living areas plus a screened porch. Plenty of glassware/dishes, extra beverage fridge, and the beach amenities in the shed (chairs, bikes, boogie boards) are welcome extras that you don't find in many other rentals. One detail we missed- neither of the bathrooms have a tub, which may be an issue for families with small children. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

We are beach people and have had eighteen successful years of fun beach going in Bethany Beach for my family and friends. We have also shared our cozy house with many happy renters.

Why they chose this property

My family has always loved and vacationed at the beach. I wanted to have a beach house within about 3 hours from our home in VA. We also wanted a pool and recreation facilities that are easy to get to and use. This house has all we wanted and it's located in a family neighborhood within walking/biking distance to the beach. The large screened front porch and the windowed Florida room in the back create 3 living areas inside! We love this house and so do our renters!!

What makes this property unique

This house has all you need on one level. There are four steps to enter the house, but the rest is on one level. The two separate sleeping areas allow for separation of families if you want that. There is an outside shower for "after beach" rinsing and plenty of room for kids to play away from the adult conversations or a game area and a talking area....your choice! It's furnished comfortably.
