1800's vintage log cabin on North Carolina trout stream. Located in the beautiful mountains of Franklin, NC.
A 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin with new pullout sofa, claw foot tub, kitchen with wood cook stove, hot plate burner, microwave, keurig coffee maker, antique fridge, gas grill, and a living room/dining room combo with stacked stone fireplace.
Located on a private pond, gazebo & swimming hole. Amazing property to escape from the hustle and bustle of life and connect with nature.
Sleeps 4 - 1 full size bed and 1 pull out sofa.

The owner Robin was very nice. The property was beautiful. The cabin was clean and beautifully rustic about 3 ft from the creek, off the back deck. Loved the wood burning fireplace and the firepit area next to the creek. The (wild) turkeys were very cool! Would do again!

Great quiet place to stay

We stayed here for a weekend and absolutely loved the place. It's very quiet and very beautiful. I wish we had more time to stay there. The owners were every nice and respected our privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Annual mountain trip

Every summer we take a week to go to the Carolina mountains. This was our first time to Franklin, NC and the cabin. It was an absolutely wonderful vacation. The cabin and the property are both amazing. The raging creek is right at the back doors and the sound and coolness from it will put you in total relaxation as soon as you arrive.We brought our 5 yr old dog and she loved roaming the property and swimming at the swimming hole. Perfect Getaway From It All!

We so enjoyed our stay here! Robin was a gracious host and so welcoming to our family. Tubing in the rain down the stream was by far the favorite activity of our family. Also, fishing in the pond, gathering around the fire, and going for the day to Highland made this a well round trip. We definitely will be back!!
