Property is in the perfect location for visiting Whitby and Scarborough without being in the middle of town. Roadside parking is available which makes a good and was pretty safe. Kitchen has every appliance you would need, and there was nothing that I felt was missing. WiFi was great for our phones but not quite strong enough for the TV in the bedroom. The simba mattress and bedding was amazing, we normally struggle to sleep when away from home but it was really comfy. If we visited Whitby again, we would stay here.

Super cosy stay! The cottage had everything we needed, very clean and every detail thought of. The kitchen is petite as described however had everything needed for cooking meals. Maybe a dustpan/ brush would be useful for the stone floors as the hoover didn’t always pick up everything. The hot tub is amazing, and the bathtub is great for the rainy evenings we had, when we didn’t wish to use the hot tub outside. Amazing location, walked along the Monks Path/ Cinder Track into Whitby. 10 minute drive to Sandsend Beach (would recommend if bringing your dog) The Wilson’s Arms was great for a cracking Sunday roast! We loved it so much, we’ve booked to come back!!

My partner and I had a great weekend in this beautiful cottage.
My partner and I had a great weekend in this beautiful cottage. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco in the fridge on arrival was a very nice touch. Lovely cosy cottage finished it a very high standard, every detail had been thought about and even though it’s small, it doesn’t seem it and has everything you could need. Despite it being -1 outside, the cottage was lovely and warm! Also spent a few hours in the excellent hot tub looking at the stars. Really nice pub next door (The Wilson Arms), great food and friendly staff. We walked on the Abbey Trail and Cinder Path into Whitby, which is around 2.5 miles and a beautiful walk through the woods and along the old railway line. We parked on the side of the road outside the cottage, which is a single yellow line. We weren’t sure if that was right but we didn’t get a ticket! Overall, we had an excellent weekend, would definitely stay again and would recommend.
