Horrible in every way. Upon entering the property we were greeted with a strong, foul odor that didn't subside for a couple of days. A completely filled rubbish bin along with a full recycling bin were sitting right by the front entrance (After I called and complained, it was not removed until the following day). I found mold in the espresso maker and one of the floor boards on the porch collapsed while we were there (again, not immediately taken care of). Perhaps one of the most inconvenient things was that there was NO internet for the 7 days we were there. They claimed that there was an outage in the area, but upon talking to the neighbor along with the internet company that the property used, there was indeed internet in the area. I cannot express enough how horrible our stay was.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
VERY STRONG FOUL SMELL which would not go away. Guesthoo the company managing the house said they couldn't smell anything, but they dropped off over 20 of air fresheners to go with the plug in air fresheners already in every plug. Please see the picture and ask why we would need so much if there wasn't a bad smell. There was NO INTERNET and no TV. Guesthoo told me they had topped up the internet dongle (yes a kids dongle) and didn't know why it wasn't working. The rear patio which is a wooden deck was super slimily and dangerous to walk on. The area's you could see were clean, but where you couldn't see was very dirty, under the sofa was discussing. My comments here mirror comments other customers who have had the displeasure of staying here. Yet nothing has been done to fix the problem we have also encountered. It looks like an ongoing issue with this house from July this year (2025). I Want my money back as this house is not habitable and we were forced to eat out for every meal. We could not eat in the house due to the smell.

Hi Steve, Thanks for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet expectations. We’ve never had reports of a smell before, but our housekeeper popped by to check and couldn’t detect anything. The air fresheners were left as a gesture, as we weren't sure how else we could help. The Wi-Fi was working when we checked, so it seems the set-up steps may not have been followed. We also offered a prepaid open Wi-Fi pass during your stay when you said you were having trouble. We’re sorry to hear you ran into these issues, and appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
