Gites Rue Du Chateau - Three French Styled Cottages - sleeps 12

Gites Rue Du Chateau is a complex of four cottages and our three cottage package can accommodate up to 12, with exclusive use of the site and facilities. Ideal for larger family and friend's bookings, when you would like to have separate accommodation but be on the same site. Surprisingly peaceful, but within walking distance of cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, a beer/bar warehouse and market. You can choose to stay on site or venture out and take part in one of the many local activities on offer, including activity lakes and the Rejallant Canoeing Centre.

Situated in the grounds of what was once part of the old Chateau estate, our cottages offer a little haven of tranquillity; a place where you will be able to relax, have fun and make those precious memories. The two and a half acres of part walled garden and woodland includes a beautiful clear stream running through an ancient lavoir, with plenty of space for relaxation and garden games. We have a lovely above ground pool, 5m diameter, 1.2m deep, perfect to cool down in on a hot summers day. You will also have access to a boules area, BBQ, hammocks, an outside kitchen with indoor dining space and canopied dining terrace with fire pit. Every day you could wake up to the sound of birdsong, a running stream and the local church bells in the distance. The property is securely gated and there is space for parking four cars on site.

Bumblebee Cottage sleeps 3, one double and one single bedroom, bathroom with shower and additional downstairs WC. Direct access to terrace overlooking gardens. Electric heating.

Garden View Cottage sleeps up to 5. A large twin/double room and large double room with king size bed, adjoining dressing room with a day bed. This room has a balcony over looking the gardens. Downstairs bathroom with shower, upstairs WC, large kitchen and large living space. Direct access to outside terrace overlooking gardens. Electric heating and two log burners.

Sunflower Cottage sleeps four, one double and one twin room. Upstairs bathroom with shower and downstairs WC, small kitchen, dining room and cosy sitting room. Access to terrace and gardens through shared hallway. Electric heating.

Lavender Cottage sleeps 4, large double bedroom with king size bed accessed via an adjoining twin room. This adjoining twin room would ideally be suited for two young children. This twin bedded room has no external window but does have natural light coming from the large king size room and from adjacent landing sky light. Upstairs bathroom with luxury bath . Please note this cottage does NOT have a shower. Group bookings may benefit from using a shower in one of the other cottages. Kitchen, large dining room and living space. Downstairs WC. Front door leads to a very quiet, access only, street. Electric heating and cosy log burner in dining room.

Sunflower and Lavender Cottages have access to a covered terrace and the gardens via a shared hall way which also has additional dining space if needed for a group booking. Seating 8 comfortably. An additional table, to increase table space, can be provided if needed.

Anna and Ian live on site to ensure a friendly welcome and will be available should you need anything. You will occasionally see us checking the pool, maintaining the grounds and entering and leaving the site via the shared driveway.
