Best location! Of all the areas in Rome we explored the area right outside the apartment was the best - good restaurants and shops and close to everything. The apartment was excellent and we’d stay there again!!

Fabulous family spot

This was the perfect spot for our family. We had our adult children with us and loved everything about this apartment. Check-in was smooth and easy. We were delighted with the cleanliness and amenities in the apartment. The only disappointment was that the dryer was not working during our stay. It was centrally located, which made it very easy to get to places. We would definitely stay here again!

Very happy overall. Location is fantastic for seeing all the sights and grabbing dinner/drinks. Alex was a great host and Chris who works for him carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs which was extra appreciated. Everything was clean and worked. The dryer which was not working in past reviews has been fixed. A/c mini splits not in every room but is in the living room and all the bedrooms and works very well. Most importantly our 3 and 5 year old kids slept well and were very happy here.

Overall a good stay

This apartment was nice and Alex was a great host - helped us book our transfers and was a great host overall. The apartment was clean and as pictured, spacious and comfortable! Unfortunately the broken dryer was really a problem - listing it as having a washer and dryer but not be functional is misleading. This was a prerequisite for us to rent a place in Rome so that was really frustrating. We packed very lightly planning to wash frequently, but our clothes took 2 days to dry, so with children that was difficult. Also the street noise at night was very disruptive to our kids trying to sleep, but this is a trade off for the great location. Bring a white noise machine!

Dear Ashley, thank you for your review! During your stay, the dryer had already been purchased for replacement, but unfortunately, it was delivered right after your check-out. Currently, all appliances and devices in the apartment are working with no issues. Also, we truly appreciated your suggestion about the noise machine: thank you! We've now placed a white noise machine in every bedroom, just in case. As Pompei Realty, we started welcoming guests to this apartment this year, and with the owners (Sara & Mike) we put great care into turning this house a home for guests like you. Your experience and insights means a lot, again thank you for your review. Hope to welcome you again! Best Regards from Rome, Alex
