Fabulous penthouse, location, amenities, & host

The penthouse is beautiful, & just mins walking distance to the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, & much more. Our host was simply fabulous, she had the basics like coffee, milk, water etc for us at home, gave us recs on restaurants that were local, & always followed up. I’ve stayed at the St. Regis the last time I was in Rome, & I would pick staying at this pent house the next time too. That says a lot!

Wonderful Rome Experience

What a great location for a visit of all of Rome. This apartment was perfect for our family. Very centrally located but on a tiny little street. Our host was so gracious, helping with transportation, restaurant and tour recommendations that were all perfect and made the trip so special. Great restaurants all within a 10 min walk of the apartment. Can't wait to return!

Great in every respect. The property manager was fantastic. Anything we needed was covered. Location is just a three minute walk from Trevor fountain. Plenty of great restaurants to eat at. Five stars all the way around.

Excellent location, charming yet modern penthouse

This apartment has an excellent, central location - it’s easy to walk to much of what Rome has to offer. Also, there are four bus stops within a 3-minute walk, and a taxi stand within 2-minutes. (We always saw taxis waiting there, even at 5:30 in the morning!)The apartment is lovely and sunny with large French doors and southern exposure. It has the conveniences you want (modern kitchen and bathrooms, an elevator) as well as “old world” charm with high ceilings and parquet floors. Beds were comfortable.Another important attribute - the apartment is quiet. There are no bars or late-night spots to keep you awake and we never heard our neighbors.We were only 25 steps from a convenience shop where we were able to buy breakfast things, including a fresh-baked “rosetta” every morning. The radiators used for heating in colder months are controlled by an app on the site manager’s phone, so communicate your preference for the apartment temperature when you check in. In the summer, each room has its own air conditioner which the occupants can control. We found the site management to be easy to reach via phone and responsive to our requests.We would happily stay there again.

Fantastic trip, wonderful apartment

We had a great week in Rome and loved staying in this wonderful apartment. It was elegant and spaciousness with an historic feel and all the modern amenities. The living room was beautiful with an high fresco ceiling and opened on to a great private patio where we could relax and eat looking down at the streets below. The location was outstanding! Close to everything historic and with a grocery and a great restaurant steps from our door. Also, there is a taxi stand area less than 2 blocks away which was really helpful. The owner and team were really great setting up transportation for us to and from the airport and guiding us to great restaurants. A wonderful family vacation and we highly recommend this Roman Penthouse!

Great location, apartment needs a refresh

Pros: Great location - can walk to many attractions. 4th floor apartment and has an elevator Plenty of room in apartment Lovely balcony Nice to have the kitchen w fridge, stove and microwave. Very polite property managers Cons: Beds were uncomfortable. New mattresses are needed. Also new pillows needed as the ones on the beds weren't comfortable. Bedrooms on street side noisy late at night (people leaving restaurants) and early morning (garbage collection at 330-4am!). There were 3 adults in the unit and we were only supplied 1 bath mat, 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel each, and no face towel. We couldn't wash the towels in the washer because there is no dryer and we were afraid they wouldn't dry in time if we hung them outside. Unit is a little tired looking and could use a paint refresh over the slow season. We left early every morning, were gone most of the day, returning in the evening to shower and then sleep. Thus, didn't really use the apartment the way a family or others might have.

Was a very nice, large apartment in a perfect walkable location. Our only issue was not a ton of hot water. Otherwise, we had a great stay and the check in process was seamless. Would highly recommend.

Great Location

The property was a little more worn than I was expecting, which was a perception issue. The pictures represent the property adequately. But, the location was perfect and the host was very accommodating. We had a major issue while in the apartment, which is on the 5th level. The elevator was taken down for repair which was scheduled to be 3 out of our 4 day stay. The host contacted the building management and hurried the repair on our behalf, as well as offering to help us carry our bags up and down 4 flights of stairs. This was not their fault and everything within their power was done to mitigate the problem. However, it colored our experience with our stay, as we are all over 60 and my husband is 80. Therefore, the good rating instead of excellent.

Amazing Rome Penthouse

The home was spacious and beautiful. The location was convenient. We got to see all the sights of Rome and enjoyed dining and shopping. Loved coming home to a 3 bedroom home to relax. We would stay here again. Property manager was extremely helpful and coordinated our pick up from the airport and provided food recommendations. Prompt reply and super helpful and friendly. Perfect location in the middle of old Rome

Located just a couple of blocks from the Trevi Fountain, the Roman penthouse was perfectly situated for our wanderings. We were able to walk to the colosseum, the forum and all the restaurants that we wanted to visit. The penthouse itself was very comfortable with an elegant living room, three spacious bedrooms, and a large balcony connected to the living room and two of the bedrooms. The air conditioners worked well and kept us chill during the hot Italian days. There was a market about 25 feet from the front door so we were able to stock up on breakfast items and snacks. Sarah worked as a property manager for the host and was very responsive with any questions we had. Overall, we were very happy with the experience.

Magnificent

The Roman Penthouse provided us with a memorable stay in Rome. The apartment was just beautiful and well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. The living room and outside terrace were lovely. The kitchen provided everything we needed, even a washing machine on a balcony. The air conditioning worked well. Even though the elevator was small, it was large enough to get our luggage to the apartment. I would absolutely stay at the apartment again.

Wonderful place and location

If you are looking for a place to stay in Rome, this is it. Comfortable and convenient to all areas of Rome. Beds and linens are beautiful. We had a family of 5 and was the perfect space. Easy check in and check out process and we’re so helpful at arranging transfers to and from airport and train station. Great restaurants all around this wonderful place tucked on a quiet side street. Highly recommend and hope to be back someday. Just so much of world to see. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect location

I can’t believe how amazing the location of this property was. Under 10 minute walk to so many incredible landmarks. The hospitality was wonderful too. We had a slight issue with the washer, and there were very quick to address it. Basically right next door to a wonderful grocery store and coffee shop. Would definitely stay here again!

great spring vacation

The communication and check in process were seemless.( Thank you Francesco!) Chiara also ordered a car for us which makes it so much easier! The location is perfect and we ate at De Roma 6 times! Having the grocery store right there was also convenient for little things. Great walking to rome highlights...taxi stand right around the corner. Apartment is very comfortable with ktichen for breakfasts and snacks and 2 big baths. Comfy beds and sheets and pillows. Nice furnishings. We will be back!! Grazie mille!
