This beautiful, 190 square-metre flat is situated in an eighteenth-century building with high coffered ceilings and antique fired brick floors located in a lovely piazza in the heart of Rome. Ideal for families and groups of friends.

The building is located in a small piazza where there is a picturesque food an flowers market; a lovely patch of colour in the heart of the city. Very close to the Pantheon and Piazza Navona; Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain are just a short walk away. It is the ideal place from where to start your journey through Rome and get lost in its small alleys. This neighbourhood is the home to the main monuments and historical places of the capital and the most famous shopping streets, via del Corso, via di Campo Marzio , via Condotti etc.

The flat is made up of 4 big bedrooms (3 double and one with 2 French beds), a big kitchen, a living room, 2 bathrooms and two big entrance halls, as it is on two floors. In 2016 a new Air Conditioning sistem has been installed at the second floor, in addition to the existing one at the first floor. All the rooms of the apartment (4 bedrooms, siting room, kitchen) have an indipendent AC system.
The flat is equipped with tv, internet, wi-fi, pc workstation and a fully equipped kitchen (electric oven, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine). The bed linen and towels are included in the price.

City tax of 3,5 euros per person per day is not included in the daily rate. The guest will have to pay the tax in cash at the check in.
The rent covers the exclusive use of the whole flat.
The simplest way to get to the flat: from Termini station the taxi takes about 10 minutes and costs about 10 euro; from Fiumicino airport taxis charge a fixed rate (45 euros); you can also book a car with driver for a fixed rate (40 euros, and takes around 45 minutes); you can also take the Fiumicino Express (15 euros per person) or the bus (7,50 euros per person), both leave you at Termini station.

Great Stay in Rome

Our family of 8 (4 generations) had an amazing stay in Rome. We loved the location just a short walk from many of the most popular attractions in Rome. The apartment was a nice safe haven to come home too after a long day of sight seeing.

Stay over for 3 nights after sicily

The location is terrific. The apartment is very nicely sized as well, with gorgeous windows and views of the courtyard. 4-5 restaurants all within 100 feet. Highly recommend La Tavernetta 48. Plenty of space for my family of 5 (3 teen boys) and my mother. Would definitely stay again.

Fantasia stay in a great property. So close to everything. Pantheon and Piazza Navona just around the corner. Good restaurants and shops so close. Rafaella was fantastic host. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the place for 5 nights. Raffaella met us and was very welcoming.The place was centrally located, within a couple of minutes walk from the Pantheon, less than 10 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, and about 25 minutes walk from the Vatican and Colosseum.Split over 2 levels, the place has 4 large rooms and 2 bathrooms, with an internal and external staircase. The kitchen is large with a big fridge as well as a dishwasher. There is also a laundry area. The place was extremely clean.Some improvements would be to provide a toaster. We spent a long time trying to toast the bread with the oven grill. There were only 4 toilet rolls provided for 7 people over 5 nights.The internal spiral stairs are quite narrow and would be an issue for a larger person. Also, at night, even with the windows closed, it can be quite noisy late into the night due to the restaurants in the square below. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Perfect Apartment and Location in Rome

This apartment is amazing. It is located in a quaint square and is walkable to many sites in Rome. After a long day when you don't feel like walking far to dinner, there are restaurants right outside your door. We found the apartment spacious and easily fit our group of 9. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay.

Family fun in a great part of Rome

We are a family of 6 travelling through Rome, and this apartment was ideal for us. Plenty of beds to accommodate everyone and a great space upstairs for shared meals and regrouping after our busy days. We chose this apartment because of its accessibility to great tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants and the local supermarket. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome, and are very happy to have stayed here. The property managers were easy to communicate with and responsive to a very minor issue with the washing machine. Perfect location

This apartment was lovely and overlooked a courtyard with three restaurants, as well as a farmer's market in the morning. Upper level has one bedroom, living space, kitchen, and bathroom, while lower level has three bedrooms and bathroom. Our longest walk was 35 minutes to Vatican museums, many other sites closer. Great for our group of 8.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Rome

This place was perfect! We had 9 people in our group and the apartment fit us perfectly. It was clean and well kept. The location could not have been better--walking distance to just about everything! The property manager was right on top of everything for us and helped us mange transport from our cruise port to Rome and then from Rome to the airport. They suggested some great restaurants and gave us directions to the local grocery store. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this property.

Location and Host are 5*. Pantheon Location + Homey Square with great restaurants, bar, market

Easy location for touring Rome. Most responsive host on VRBO - really. The layout is quirky with an internal spiral staircase. But the upper floor can be reached through an extra set of stairs in the building staircase. Large bedrooms. Square and restaurants might be noisy - but with windows closed you hear nothing. Great little square below the apartment have several excellent restaurants, a neat little bar and a morning fruit and veggie market. OK - an extra bathroom would be nice. Just so you know I am not a robot.

Christmas in Rome

We loved our stay at the Coppelle Apartment during the holidays! The location was ideal. Every day…and on most nights…we easily walked to Rome’s many attractions. And every morning, we woke up to the produce market just downstairs in the public square. The streets in the immediate neighborhood are filled with interesting shops. You could feel the energy. The apartment was the perfect size for our party of six. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the clothes dryer, not very common in European apartments, was a nice plus. We would definitely recommend the Coppelle Apartment for a Rome vacation. We can't wait to return.

Fantastic spot to explore Rome

Raffaella’s apartment was fantastic, a beautiful historic building situated on a small square that had a fruit and vegetable market in the morning and outdoor dining at multiple restaurants at night. The apartment is two floors with three bedrooms on the first floor and one bedroom, living room, and kitchen/dining on the second. Interior circular stair or you can go out and re-enter apartment on second level. Kitchen is well appointed. Washer/dryer very useful for family group, and AC cooled us off from Rome heat. We had an extended family group of nine fit well, all on beds. Fabulous location near Pantheon and Piazza Navonna. Raffaella was extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating. We’ve stayed with family in many apartments in Europe and this was one of the best.

Great spot to stay in Rome! There was plenty of room for everyone in our group of 7 and we loved being able to walk to most tourist spots! It was also great to be able to walk downstairs and have many restaurants to eat at.Host made check in easy and worked with our travel schedule!

The apartment was a great size for our family of 8 and the location is perfect! Central to all attractions of Rome. The apartment could use a update and the circular stairs are a bit challenging. The upstairs washroom definitely needs a renovation. The host was great from the moment we booked the apartment to the time we checked out.

Perfect Rome Apartment

My family stayed here for our trip to Rome in June 2024. Our party included my three kids (ages 15, 12 and 9) and a set of grandparents and the flat fit us easily. Raffaella, the owner, was very helpful in arranging transportation from the airport and making recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood. The flat was very clean and exactly as advertised in terms of rooms. The kitchen is very ample and the washer/dryer functions well. The location of this apartment could not be better. It is located in a small square that boasts a market with a good selection of fruits and vegetables in the morning as well as a fresh water spigot. The apartment is steps from several great restaurants and an amazing gelateria. The Pantheon is a very short walk and other main attractions like Campo di Fiori and the Trevi Fountain are a easy distance. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Loved it!

We had such a wonderful time in Rome and a big part of it was our stay here. It was a wonderful size for two families traveling together (early teen kids) and a perfect location for seeing all of Rome. We loved the square - farmers market in the morning and great drinks/dinners at night. We would stay here again!
