This was a lovely little place in a great location within St. Andrews. Right next to the Old Course, with a short walk to the bus station.

If you are looking for something other than a hotel room for 1-2 people and you want to be as close as possible to the Old Course, this place is ideal. It is a guest house connected to the (very lovely) main house on a secluded street a few hundred yards from the 18th fairway. My son and I did nothing but play golf every day we were there, so it was perfect for us. The proprietor knows that we are the target market, as she provides golf club storage just outside the door, which was handy.If you plan to spend some of your waking hours at your lodging, however, this is not the biggest and most comfortable choice. Small bathroom with no counter. No tables for eating, working on a computer, etc. Beds are small.But again, if you plan to wake up every morning and walk to the St Andrews golf courses, and you don't want to stay at a hotel, you can't do much better than this little guest house.
