Castle View Lodge consists of an open-plan kitchen/living/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, with dining seating for six people, and sitting area with TV. The bedrooms consists of a king-size with TV, a double, and a twin, along with a bathroom. Travel cot and highchair located in bedroom cupboard/wardrobe with changing mat, potty, and a toddler step-up. Outside, there is a non-enclosed garden with lawn area and off-road parking for up to three cars alongside the tennis court. Note: there are fire pits for hire on site at GBP2.50 per 2-hour session incl fire wood. Firelighters and kindling is available to purchase at the bar. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all inc. in rent. Castle View Lodge is a pleasant base for a Devon escape. Note: The bath is a spa bath. Please note: The site is now under new management and the following on-site facilities are available: outdoor tennis court, a five a side football pitch and a free soft play area. The on-site restaurant, the Tide & Stay Inn, is now open. The outdoor swimming pool is available for GBP4.95 per person. A family fun pass for non-residents is available at the reception. There is also a public swimming pool within half a mile of the property.

The North Devon Coastal Path runs close by the village, and offers great walks and fantastic scenery, while the seaside towns and villages of Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe are all close by, and offer activities for all the family to enjoy.
