Beautiful beachfront apartment.
You can enjoy breakfast while taking in the best sunrises on the Mediterranean, watching the fishing boats come in, and dine as the moon rises from the sea.
If you’re very lucky, you might see dolphins leaping near the coast, and in June, the large whales (fin whales) as they pass by Cape San Antonio.
Second floor, no lift.
The terrace, shared with the first-floor neighbors, is located on the third floor (no lift) and offers spectacular views of Jávea Bay; here, you can enjoy magnificent dinners or summer starters.
The building’s entrance is old.
The magnificent La Grava Beach in Jávea, with turquoise waters most of the time, is located 20 m from the house.
The Port of Jávea is one of the few in the Mediterranean authorised to unload bluefish. Many mornings you’ll watch the fishing boats come in, and you can head to the fish market to see the unloading of sardines or anchovies.
Over your afternoon coffee, you’ll watch the trawlers come in, carrying the star catch of our seas—Mediterranean red shrimp—and the small trawl boats, loaded with fine sea bream, dentex, white seabream, and sea bass.
You can buy this fish right at the fish market, just 300 metres from home.
In May and June, schools of giant tuna, which have entered the Mediterranean via Gibraltar, approach our capes, and the large tuna fishing vessels (both French and Spanish) use the Port of Jávea to unload their catch. An once-in-a-lifetime spectacle. (Exact dates cannot be specified.)
On September 8, you can watch the magnificent fireworks display launched from the sea, right in front of the house. It’s customary to watch it with a good champagne or cava.
