Fantastic stay in La Fortuna

Our family of four stayed here during our vacation in La Fortuna. This place was fantastic and met all our needs. The pool and hammock were greatly enjoyed, especially after a long day exploring this beautiful area. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was super clean. We can’t wait to come back and further explore this area.

Great visit to an amazing country! The house and location was perfect for our family of four! The house was clean and everything we needed! The pool was a perfect place for the afternoon! The road noise was a bit loud at times!

This place was private, well equipped and unique in that it backed onto a working farm. The property and host family was gracious, helpful, attentive and unintrusive. The adjacent farm grounds were available for walking and was beautifully manicured, we stayed for an entire month. The pool was private, clean and welcomed. It felt like home.

We loved our stay here. Oscar has taken great care to make the property welcoming to guests. We loved walking on the farm to meet the animals and get fresh eggs. He provided the basics like salt, sugar, coffee. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms air conditioned. The pool and lounge area were awesome and beautifully decorated. But the best part was the laundry room because we got to clean all of our wet clothes from our adventures. Some cons were that we didn’t have the check-in info, the main TV remote was not there, the bathroom and outside areas could use many more mats and the door automatically locked so you needed a key all the time. But these are minor points for improvement. Travelers should note that this place is about a 15 minute drive from town, so you need a rental car. There is a grocery store at the corner. The property is also right off of the road, so you can hear vehicles. Our family made some wonderful memories here and we would easily rent again.
