Why they chose this property
I love living 5 minutes from the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary, a Fantastic location for access to water sports, in the beautiful South Hams, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Kingsbridge, is an excellent base to enjoy the exceptional coastline, estuary, local beaches and the peaceful Devon countryside, while public transport and well-connected road links lead to nearby historical towns such as Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe. Just a few miles away lie the sandy coves of North and South Sands, Thurlestone and award winning Blackpool sands, listed best beach in UK by Condé Nast Traveller. The popular surfing beach at Bantham is about 4 miles away.
There are golf courses at Bigbury and Thurlestone. fabulous walks abound along the South West Coast Path. Less than a ten minute walk along the embankment, offering stunning views of the estuary, is the market town of Kingsbridge where you can find Award-winning local restaurants offering a range of high-quality dining experiences, including Number 27 & Wild Artichokes.
On Fore Street Explore the eclectic independent local shops, and boutiques, antique shops and numerous art galleries.
