We stayed in Aspen Lodge. Peaceful and relaxing space for exploring North Somerset.

Location, easy parking, spacious for 2 people, outdoor seating, good shower and hot water, large comfortable bed, well maintained grounds. Improvements: Appliance manuals, only 1 bedside cabinet - need 2, no ice box in fridge, TV in bedroom not working - WiFi signal not present in bedroom! Wi-fi is okay in living room kitchen. No frying pan. Having said all this, this is the second time we have stayed here, and we enjoyed our stay both times.

The cabin was very nice but a fan would be a great addition, in summer it would be unbearable with no airflow. Communication was pretty poor to start with but we did get help in the end. Lovely little spot, very peaceful.

If you can help us with how you are being asked repeatedly for a review we can investigate. We would appreciate it if you could review the hotel and not being swamped by messages. It is very damaging for our reputation

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
This listing is misleading as the photo used is not of Aspen Lodge. I wasted half an hour driving round in circles trying to find the place. For a so called superior lodge it is not very well equipped. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge to store frozen food. Ended up throwing food away. The TV which uses WiFi did not work properly as the signal is very poor. During an hours programme it dropped out 48 times. The 'host' does not seem to exist as messages sent through VRBO & direct to their email address went unanswered. Not very professional. The furniture is largely hard plastic & the sofa has stains on it from previous guests. I would not recommend this accommodation.
