Amazing Christmas stay

The most amazing and charming cottage. We had the best time staying at Cider Cottage for Christmas with our two children. The cottage was clean, tidy, well equipped with all cooking utensils and a Christmas tree was even provided, which was a lovely touch. The only small improvement we would suggest is to have a full pack of logs on arrival as we were only left with three and these were burnt in an hour or two with the cold evenings. Thank you so much again for such a wonderful stay, we would love to visit again. Best wishes Luke, Alana, Frankie & Oakley

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
This could be a lovely little holiday home, is quaint, comfortable and has character. However there are a lot of watchouts. Our stay was marred, and we had little support from VRBO/owner. Note: The property is not in Blackawton, but Hutcherleigh - so beware. There is next to no mobile phone service in the area. The property is tired and the outside area was not maintained. The gate/fence hadn't been cleaned and covered in sap or similar form the tree, attracting masses of wasps. The bed is NOT a Kind bed, it's 4.5foot rather than 5. The patio area has no umbrella, and was covered in brambles and leaves etc. Little things like broken lights, missing cables, loose skirting haven't been resolved.
