Perfect Family Getaway In The Cotswolds

We loved our stay at Coleman's Elm. While visiting family with our 3 small kids we felt so comfotrable the moment we walked in. The house house was stocked with everything we needed. The decor and design was so cozy and the views of the adjoining farm was unbelieveable. The entire property is so private although along a main intersection and felt safe with the kids running around.

Great place and wonderful host

Since we visited from the US I did a lot of research to find a good place for my family of 4 as well as my sister-in-law and husband to join us and some other friends to visit for a day. The Coleman's Elm had it all. A beautiful converted old barn with loads of character, plenty of room in the 3 comfortable bedrooms and loads of outdoor space with great views over the fields of sheep, perfect for the kids to get there energy out (even though they had little left after all the places we visited). The location was perfect with easy access to all the wonderful towns to visit, like Bourton-on-the-water, Stow-on-the-wold and many many others. We also walked to Hook Norton to enjoy the Brewery/museum and local pubs. The host Becky was absolutely wonderful. Prior to arrival we started to communicate and on arrival she was there to show us around the place and make us feel very welcome. She also surprised us by showing some new additions they just added, which included a game's room with fooseball table and dart board as well as som small kids toys and to our delight, a wood burning hottub. Becky and her husband explained the use of it and even swung by the place while we were out to start pre-heating it. She always got right back to us with any questions. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to visit the Cotswolds, especially if you have a large group and like to dine in (or use the BBQ) or wants to stay a bit longer as the place is perfect and feels like a home away from home and had everything you need.
