The Rookery is a large 4 bedroom property that sleeps 8. Enter through the hall/lobby and you are welcomed by a large, open plan kitchen, dining and living area.

The large kitchen is equipped with American-style fridge-freezer and Rangemaster oven to cook up a feast, chill at the breakfast bar using the Sonos sound system to set the mood.

Lift off the dining table top and you have yourself a competion level pool table!

Use the logs provided to light the log burner and enjoy a cosy evening after a day on the beach.

Patio doors open out onto a large south facing patio area with seating, BBQ and a contained garden for your dogs.

Outdoor shower to freshen up after the beach, rinse wetsuits or wash those mucky paws.

Pay as you go EV charging point.

4 bedrooms with unspoilt garden views comprising of:

Bed 1 – Super-king sized bed, vaulted ceilings, en-suite bathroom, large south facing balcony with views of the iconic Carn Brea monument

Bed 2 – Super-king/twin (tbc by guest), large room with great garden views

Bed 3 – Ground floor bedroom, King-sized bed, large room, garden views

Bed 4 – Smaller double. Bed accessible from one side, great garden views


The property is just a short 3 minute drive to Porthtowan beach, walkable via road (20 minutes) or country Lane coast path (40 minutes)
Close links to the coast to coast cycle track & mineral tramways for those looking to get out and about as well as some of the best coast paths in the County just a 20 minute walk from the door with iconic views and some of the best sunsets in Cornwall.
Porthtowan boasts a Blue Flag beach and is also one of Cornwall's best surfing beaches, it has bars, restaurants and other small businesses.
A 2 minute cycle takes you to the Mineral tramway coast-coast cycle trail which can take you to Portreath or as far as Devoran. The house is only a short walk to Mount Pleasant Eco-park which has regular weekend markets, places to eat, a bar and hosts regular events and festivals throughout the year.
