This is the most magical place! Opening the windows and listening to the waves and the wind every morning was particularly memorable. I highly recommend staying here; it is really comfortable and private and has everything you need and more!

Absolutely stunning! We loved staying at The Boathouse - we would have happily stayed longer if we could. Spotlessly clean, high spec appliances, crisp white bed linen, fluffy towels. Amazing views. Lovely quiet location. Couldn’t fault it at all.

The Boathouse at Croft Downie is a unique, perfectly private, and wonderfully appointed tiny home in a gorgeous location, literally a few steps from the water with awesome views, and only a short drive from Inverness. Graham was an amazing host who was extremely responsive before and during our stay, answering all our questions and providing helpful advice to ensure our stay was and exceptional experience. My personal favorite highlight was enjoying a relaxing bath in the outdoor bath beneath the boathouse while sipping a glass of wine and watching the sun set as I listened to the waves lap at the shore!!!

What an amazing place. The design and location was just perfect. The views and cosyness of the boathouse was also perfect. Clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay. We want to go back just to spend time there and maybe bring our kayak as the location is ideal for watersports . We also went for a cold water dip as it’s ideally set up for that so took the opportunity. Brilliant . We will be back

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as we finished up a UK trip. We both agree it was our favorite part of our trip. There are many things to do in the vast area surrounding Inverness and we both loved coming back to this cozy spot in the evenings. It is so beautiful and peaceful. We cooked a couple of meals there and stayed in to just read and enjoy the views. Would 100% recommend this place and the host.
