Immaculately clean and well presented property. Natasha was very friendly and helpful with the check-in. The property is very well equipped and well furnished with an excellent shower too. Peaceful rural setting and easy parking. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Why they chose this property
The village lies 12 miles north and west of Gloucester. It is 5 and 8 miles respectively from the pretty market towns of Newent ,Ledbury and Ross on Wye. They all have well preserved market houses and Church Lane in Ledbury is so well preserved it has often been the location for films depicting Victorian England.
Nestled in the English Countryside surrounded by working farms. There are variety of walks around the village particularly the daffodil paths all of which are properly way marked. Maps of the walks can be obtained in advance from the Friends or purchased at St Mary’s. You just need to drop the money in the offertory box. Use this site to view the tours of St Mary’s and St Edward’s and you will most certainly want to see them in their real world setting. Both are open throughout the summer months from 10 am till 6 pm. St Mary’s interior is unique and the wall paintings are bound to inspire you. St Edward’s Arts and Crafts style is also unique. The walk between them down narrow country lanes offers a peaceful break from the bustle of city life. Local pubs can be found in Dymock, Much Marcle and Upton Bishop, there is a local Vineyard offering tours , Three Choirs and also Weston's Cider. Ledbury, Malvern, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Hereford offer further restaurants and theatres can be found in Malvern and Cheltenham. National Hunt Horseracing can be enjoyed at Cheltenham , Hereford, Worcester Ludlow and Chepstow , Flat racing also at Chepstow. Within an hour of the beautiful Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat for various outdoor activities. There is an easily accessible train station in Ledbury if wishing to travel to Birmingham for a day, likewise also Gloucester gives access to Bristol, both cities are withing an hours drive by car also as is Cardiff offering a wider range of shopping experience, Aquariums and other activities. Cinemas in Gloucester, Hereford and also Cinderford.
