Fantastic location with private parking. Cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very comfortable throughout. Clear, concise direction and communication from the host, would have no hesitation in recommending this as an excellent place to stay. Thanks again.
We had a wonderful stay at this charming little cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped — everything we needed was provided. The owner Debbie was extremely kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful place to relax. The welcome basket was a nice surprice too!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to host you.
Beautiful cottage , furnished to a high standard. Everything you could possibly need and situated in a great location. Host Debbie ensured that we had everything that we needed . 100% recommended
What can I say about this trip other than it was awesome, Debbie as a host is exceptional, communication was clear and easy, and the cottage itself was so much better than we even hoped for. Small but perfectly formed, everything you need is there waiting for you, in fact, I still can’t quite figure out how everything fits!!Those extra touches like the welcome basket, the sheer convenience of not having to worry about things like linen or towels, the joy of curling up on the sofa with the fire after a days adventuring…The list goes on!Loads to do in the area to, so it’s a great place for access to all sorts, from the beach to the mines, everything a short drive. Can’t recommend this enough!!

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Am so glad that you had a great time and enjoyed the local area.
Very cute and cosy cottage. Excellent communication with the host, Debbie and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. We only had one full day in the area and went to Anglesey but there's lots of local information for things to do in the welcome pack. The cottage is everything we expected as a traditional Welsh cottage with a lovely fireplace, although we didn't need to use it. Good shower and very comfortable bed. There is parking which is a little tricky to negotiate depending on the size of your car and your driving skills but is right opposite the cottage. Best to drive in forward and then reverse the short distance down the lane. Can also recommend the Bryn Arms, less than a 10 minute walk away and very good food. All in all, a lovely place to stay in a very good location.

Thank you for your lovely review. I will mention in my arrival instructions about how it’s best to drive into parking space forward and reverse out as another guest also mentioned this 👍
Cosy is the perfect description for the property! Great communication with directions and an unexpected welcome basket made arrival quick and simple so we were able to complete a 5 mile walk starting outside the property, down to the lake and looping back via the local pub (Bryn Arms) in time for an evening meal - a perfect start to our break. A morning visit to Portmeirion followed by a loop south taking in Harlech and Barmouth amongst others got us another 9 miles, ending the day with the best pub meal we've had in years at The Grapes Hotel in nearby Maentwrog. Sunday we walked several sections of the Lynn Coastal path finishing with the recommended fish and chips at Aberdaron, the lobster tails were an unexpected treat! We returned to York via Beddgelert where we extended the Grave walk to include a lovely stretch of the Snowdonia Slate Trail and enjoyed the drive back via Betws-Y-Coed.A great location to access the whole area and if you come without any plans, Debbie's recommendations will give you a varied selection to choose from.Parking was novel and I found it easier to drive in and reverse back down the lane on leaving.
