About this property
Characterful period cottage close to beaches and local eateries. Dog-friendly!
Cherry Tree Cottage is a characterful three-bedroom period cottage with spacious gardens and ample off-road parking.
It can comfortably accommodate 6 guests and up to 8 guests with the use of the sofabed in the snug. On the Ground Floor there is a relaxing living room with a wood burner to keep you cosy in the colder months, a well-equipped kitchen, eclectic dining room filled with vintage pieces, kitchen lobby, recently refurbished shower room, boot room, utility room and a snug with substantial country gardens at both the front and rear of the cottage.
On the first floor there is a beamed master bedroom with a king-size bed, a second double and a twin room, with a spacious bathroom.
The exterior is that of a classic period country cottage, yet the beamed interior has been filled with an eclectic mix of vintage pieces and curios.
You’re just a short drive from North Norfolk’s stunning sandy beaches, and the bustling town of Burnham Market. If you don’t feel like a drive, the surrounding countryside is ripe for walking, and the nearest local pub is just five minutes away.
Well behaved dogs are also very welcome (for a small fee).
Nearby Burnham Market, often referred to as "Norfolk's loveliest village" is the epitome of rural chic. Nestled a few miles from the North Norfolk coast, this charming village offers a blend of sophistication and simplicity, making it a magnet for both locals and visitors seeking the tranquility of country life with a touch of elegance. At the heart of Burnham Market is The Green, surrounded by Georgian houses and a collection of independent boutiques, antique shops, and galleries that showcase the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of the area. Here, one can find everything from locally sourced foods and handcrafted goods to designer wear and unique artworks. The culinary scene in Burnham Market is equally impressive, with a variety of eateries offering delicious dishes that highlight the best of Norfolk's produce. From cosy cafés and traditional pubs to upscale restaurants, there's something to satisfy every palate.
