Hot tub I cannot guarantee the hot tub will be working every time be honest with you I have had a couple times with a hot tub went down and had to order parts.

I have read the concerns the drive to the cabin and the driveway. I own a Hyundai two weel drive front wheel drive little car low to the ground I have no problem getting to the cabin and back down. Trust me after you drive up-and-down a couple times you will get used to it. And yes I do recommend a 4 wheel drive especially in the Winter months. But I have drove my car year around to the cabin. You are or you're considering renting a cabin in the MOUNTAINS just the way it is I don't know of a mountain that is flat that you can drive your car to a Cabin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains sorry be so blunt just want people to understand that most cabins in the mountains you're going to have to drive up a mountain or down a hill or up the hill to get the cabin that's If you want a beautiful view. If you are very concerned about it please rent a hotel downtown where it's nice and flat drive to the hotel.
No smoking or e-cigarettes inside outside is OK. If there's any hint of smoking inside the cabin the deposit of $250 will be kept for a deep cleaning. (if you smoke outside please pick up your trash meaning your cigarette butts). Keep in mind it is easy to start a forest fire do not put your cigarettes or cigarettes butts in the forest or anywhere on the property it could potentially start a forest fire and you will be responsible for all costs and damages.

Please clean up after yourself to keep the cleaning fee cheap that means wash your dishes before you leave the cleaning fee is not for to wash your dirty dishes the same with the garbage if you leave large amounts of garbage / boxes there because of shopping sprees.
Ladies please don't use the white rags or towels to clean your makeup off your face same thing with the pillow cases and bed sheets. When you go to bed please clean your makeup before you go to bed extremely hard to get makeup stains out of hand towels and bed sheets.

Also the garbage please if you put the garbage outside in the garbage can it must be in a bag I do not like digging down in the garbage can and picking the trash out and put it in the bag.Take out all trash to the trash can outside it must be in bags if we have to clean out the garbage can outside because you did not put your trash in a plastic bag you will get charged a $25 cleaning fee. Let me repeat myself. And also please do not put loose trash in trash can outside it must be all in BAGS we do not like digging in the bottom of the trash can and trying to get out the trash do you got it.

Pet fee
PETS are allowed but only 2 small dogs under 12 pound, if a 3rd or more dogs are detected an addicional $400 will be charged for each extra dog not allowed, but your responsible for any damages and if there's pet hair you may be charged a deeper cleaning fee of $200. Pets are not allowed on the bed, in the bed on the couches or on any furniture sorry it's just too hard to clean the pet hair off any furniture Pet fee $150 per trip.

Do not mess with the security cameras don't even touch them they are there for your protection and my protection if you block the security cameras like put tape on them or move them up in the air we can't see nothing I will cancel your stay immediately and $200 will be added so please tell everybody in your group before you arrive they're only facing the driveway anyway.

Place all used sheets in a basket (optional). Towels in a basket. It would be good if you can start a load of laundry but be sure to use bleach and correct laundry (he) detergent which is provided. Please if you make a mess clean your mess.

Load and run the dishwasher please rinse off or clean out any excess food on the dishes and pans before placing them in the dishwasher. Dishwasher will not clean it very well if that's not done.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains
It has been 25 years since we’ve been to the Smokies. We decided to take a family vacation during Thanksgiving week. We needed to bring our dogs so we looked for a pet friendly cabin and also looked for a cabin that had great scenery. Everything was perfect, from the climb up the mountain to get to the cabin, the hot tub, and porch area to sit and enjoy the view. Although we didn’t get to spend much time there, the cabin was just what we wanted.

The home is lovely the drive to get there is terrifying
The actual cabin is wonderful and very nice. The issue I had was to drive up to the cabin, its a one lane road and when there is oncoming cars its very dangerous. There were multiple instances where I encountered other cars and it made for a scary drive. The hill in the driveway up to the cabin is also trecherous and i really thought my rav4 was going to give out trying to get up it. I see in the listing that the host mentions the driving situation but let me tell you its much more intense in real time. My 70+ year old mom was with me and she had heart palpitations all night after that drive which caused us to leave early.

Perfect mountain getaway
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail. This home had all we would need for a wonderful few days in the mountains. Location is about 15-20 mins to everything, hiking, fishing, shopping and food. Owner was responsive and we would definitely come back if in the area again.
