Really spacious property, so ideal for large groups! The swimming pool and pool table were great features as these were great activities for people to enjoy. The property is also in a remote area so there was no worry about being too loud. But close enough to a village if you need anything.

We were extremely disappointed with this property and left the same night without staying due to hygiene, safety and communication issues. On arrival it was clear the villa hadn’t been properly cleaned. Bedding appeared unchanged with blonde hairs on pillows and sheets, plates and cutlery were greasy, the cutlery drawer had crumbs, cupboards contained tins covered in mould, and there were cobwebs in the living area. In the pool room, a banner from previous guests was still on the mirror and toys were left floating in the pool, showing no thorough clean had taken place.Most concerning was the dishwasher, which was full of thick black mould and caused a foul smell throughout the kitchen. The host later mentioned it was due to be replaced that week, meaning the problem was known. We received no information on heating, how to use the heated pool, or even how to open the gate when leaving. The house was cold, the heating controls were locked, and key facilities were unusable.Multiple patio doors were found unlocked with no key to secure them, which made us feel unsafe staying overnight. Due to the unsanitary and unsecured conditions, we all left around 2am and did not use the stay we paid for. The host initially offered a partial refund but later withdrew this despite our evidence. This property has potential but was not clean, safe, or prepared for guests in our experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry that this stay did not meet your expectations. The concerns raised relate to a very isolated incident and do not reflect the standard we normally uphold or the experience the vast majority of our guests have. The property is professionally cleaned and checked between every stay, and we consistently receive positive feedback for cleanliness, comfort, and communication. Following this visit, we carried out a full deep clean, reviewed our changeover procedures, and replaced the appliance mentioned to ensure there could be no repeat of the issues described. Clear written instructions covering heating, pool use, access, and security are provided to guests, and we are always available to assist should anything be unclear on arrival. Unfortunately, the guests chose to leave during the night before we were given a fair opportunity to attend the property and resolve the concerns raised. We did offer to assist and investigate at the time. We take all feedback seriously and continually invest in maintaining and improving the property. Many guests have since stayed and enjoyed the villa without issue, and we remain committed to providing a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for every stay. Kind regards, Chris

Ideal for a large family gathering with the indoor pool the obvious highlight. However the property was very tired with a lot of problems which continued throughout the stay. The standard of cleaning was awful. I spoke to the hosts wife to highlight the dog poo on the lawn in at least 3 places, the fact I wasn’t given an exit code to get out of the gates, the electric socket hanging off the wall in the lounge with wires exposed. There were far too many problems to keep ringing about so I listed them all to the host but have had no reply. Other issues, empty beer bans and bottles in the garden, pizza oven outside like a large ashtray, BBQ not cleaned for ages with congealed meat hanging off the grill and filthy tongs left. A foul smelling drain in the garden that had been covered with a piece of garden furniture. Inside 2 bedroom radiators not working one which was leaking. The washing machine leaked water everywhere, Upstairs shower not working and bath plug stuck in, no soap anywhere, no information as to how to work oven and microwave, or how to work the pool water feature or the hot tub and projector. All in all very disappointing for the high cost of rental
