Hidden amongst mature trees and south-facing gardens, it’s the kind of place you retreat to and never want to leave.

The Hideaway is a striking alpine-style lodge with bold architecture and subtle mid-century character. Wrapped in mature trees and private, sun-soaked gardens, it’s a peaceful, tucked-away spot that feels worlds apart..

Step inside and you’ll find a bright, handmade kitchen kitted out with all the modern essentials, leading through to a spacious lounge and dining area. A huge picture window takes centre stage here, framing wide-open views towards the lake and fells beyond—perfect for watching the weather roll in or the morning light drift across the water.

Sleeping up to six, the house has three bedrooms: a super king with ensuite shower room, a king size, and a twin. There`s also a large family bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin, and WC.

Quiet, private, and packed with personality, The Hideaway is a one-off—a laid-back base for exploring Ullswater and the quieter northern reaches of the Lakes.
