About this property

Welcome to Raven's Nest! Great views and easy access in all weather.

Be our guest at Raven's Nest, our cozy cabin in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Our 2 bedroom/2 bath cabin accommodates up to 4 people comfortably and is a charming getaway in one of Maggie Valley's mountain neighborhoods. We are close to the main road through town allowing access in any kind of weather and a short drive to the Maggie Valley Country Club.

Porches grace the front and back of the cabin with rocking chairs and a swing to enjoy a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or a meal prepared on the grill while enjoying the mountain scenery and the cool mountain air.

Raven's Nest has queen beds in both bedrooms and two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, gas fireplace, smart TVs offering Netflix, Amazon Prime and strong wifi.

Small well-trained dogs are permitted with a pet-fee. (Sorry, no cats. Owners have allergies).

There is ample parking for two vehicles. Trailers are not permitted.

Raven's Nest is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Smoky Mountains, Soco Falls, Cataloochee Ski Resort, and Lake Junaluska. You will have an opportunity to catch glimpses of the area black bears, elk and turkey, the summer hummingbirds and fireflies, as well as enjoy area conveniences.

We provide all basic amenities, but you will need to bring everything you personally require to have an amazing Mountain Cabin experience with you.

Things to note:
In addition to the nightly rate, the following fees will apply:
$100 Cleaning Fee (includes extensive cleaning and turnover) INCLUDED IN TOTAL PRICE
$100 PET Fee -ONE PET ONLY-fee is non-refundable (*Please do not ask to bring more than one dog, no cats)
11% Tax – NC State & Haywood County Taxes.
• Please note: Late checkouts without prior approval will incur a $100 fine.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Place used towels in the tub. No need to strip beds.
Turn off A/C. Leave baseboard heaters set on 50.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
ONE DOG ONLY. No dogs on beds and furniture. NO cats (allergies). Dogs on leash and droppings to be picked up. $125 fee/stay
No trailers of any kind.

We grew up in Clearwater, Florida and used this family cabin for respite from the Florida heat. 25 years ago, our family moved to Houston TX and quit visiting visiting Maggie because of family and job responsibilities at home. We retired 4 years ago and have spent several weeks each summer since then revisiting the area, enjoying the area and updating the cabin. We are devoted to our granddaughter and church in Texas but someday we might make the leap and relocate full-time.

The cabin is comfortable, clean, and recently updated. The location is accessible in all kinds of weather and in a friendly quiet and safe community. We love it there and think you will too.
