Mill End is a unique and stylishly renovated two bedroom cottage, just a short walk from the beach and village amenities in Weybourne. An upside down house with an open plan living space on the first floor with balcony and stunning views of the garden, complete with stream running through, it is the perfect place to unwind, for adults and older children.
The interior has been thoughtfully decorated with beautiful pieces of furniture. The entrance hall leads to two cosy double bedrooms on the ground floor and a bathroom with bath and shower over, plus complimentary toiletries. Upstairs the open plan living area is flooded with light and offers a comfortable sofa and armchair to cosy up on in front of a wood burning stove; the perfect spot to curl up with a book and take time to relax or watch a film on the television. The glass door leads out onto the decked balcony, with fabulous views of the garden below. The kitchen is well equipped with fitted units, a single oven, under counter fridge, slimline dishwasher, wine fridge, washing machine and plenty of work space for cooking. There is also a modern square dining table, comfortably seating four guests.
Outside, Mill End is accessed on foot by a gate and over a bridge, with the original mill stream running beneath, leading to the garden with a raised terrace, part laid to lawn and part paved. During the warmer months, there is plenty of space for alfresco dining in the garden and also the first floor decked balcony, which offers lovely views of the garden with further comfortable seating. Adjacent to Mill End there is an allocated parking area. You can hear the sea from here, as it's just five minutes walk away, and the village amenities are also five minutes the other way on foot, including the popular village pub, The Ship. Just a few miles away you have endless choice of places to explore including Sheringham and Holt, National Trust parklands and Blickling Hall, Poppy Line heritage steam train and Cley Marshes Nature Reserve to name just a few local delights.
Additional Information:
The property welcomes adults and children over 12.
Two small pets allowed (small additional charge).
Access Note: There are internal and external steps around the property. There is a small bridge across a stream in the garden with a hand rail along one side. Some of the garden surfaces are uneven.
Duvets and pillows are synthetic.
