We loved our stay at the Bay Chalet. The open layout was great to relax, the outdoor patio was a must to enjoy the outdoors at night. House was close to everything we wanted to explore. House is on a dead end road so it was quiet. Stuart made sure all our needs were met. Pool was a little cold due to the season, but the kids liked it regardless. Would definitely stay there when back in the area.

We had an excellent stay at the Bay Chalet and would absolutely recommend it. Stuart was a fantastic host—very responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. He went out of his way to answer our questions, especially regarding the local waters and using our boat, which made a big difference for us.The dock worked perfectly for our boat, and the kids enjoyed fishing from it and caught a few mangrove snapper during our stay. The outdoor amenities were outstanding as well. We made great use of the pool, outdoor kitchen, and seating areas whenever we weren’t out on the water.The home itself was very clean, comfortable, and well laid out. It had plenty of space for our family of five, and everything felt well maintained. The location is excellent—very close to the beach and convenient to the boat launch, which made it especially easy for us to enjoy the area. It’s also in a quiet, nice neighborhood that felt very safe.Check-in was seamless, directions were clear, and we really appreciated the extra touches like the bikes and paddle boards.Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

Wir waren 10 Tage dort und haben es super angetroffen. Netter Mailkontakt mit Stuart. Morgens am Pool gefrühstückt, und abends ein Glas Wein am Pool 😊. 2 Bäder waren für uns 5 Personen echter Luxus. Riesige Dusche, neu renoviertes Bad- einfach klasse!! Toilettenpapier, Handtücher usw. war alles vorhanden. Allerdings musste die 5. Pers. auf einer Schlaf-matratze liegen, da wäre eine Schlaf-couch für unser Alter bequemer gewesen. Insgesamt alles Top 😊👍 Danke Stuart.

House was perfect for us! This was our first time renting a house. So much better than a hotel!!! Kids were able to fish every morning from the backyard. This house is located on a quiet street. Very clean and Stuart was very helpful - just a text away if we needed anything!!

I really great space that had everything we needed or wanted. It is perfectly set-up for guests and the furnishings are clean and clear without a lot of personal items so its easy to feel like it is your own. Stuart lives over the garage and was there most of the time we were, but he didn't bother us, and when we did have a minor BBQ problem he fixed it within hours.

The family and I drove down from Pittsburgh for some R & R. Stuart’s place is very clean and has everything you need. The pool was awesome and I couldn’t keep my kids off the boat dock. Very quiet dead end street. Stuart is very accessible if you need anything (not that you really should). We would definitely stay here again The Kellingtons

Great base from which to explore the area

Stuart’s home offers the best of all worlds, be the that a beach, pool or sightseeing holiday. Having a base with a pool in such a beautiful tranquil setting that gets the sun all day was fantastic after returning from exploring the area on our bikes. The Legacy Trail cycle route is 2 mins from the house and offers a great easy riding artery from which you can safely cycle to all parts of Venice and the beach. If Stuart is around he can offer advice on how to find anything you wish to do during your stay. He was very friendly and approachable in all the dealings we had. The area has lots of restaurants within a ten min drive. If you like good flavours combined with value for money try Bodrum restaurant in Venice, it’s fantastic. If self catering is preferred there is a huge Pulix five minutes way and the house has everything you need for cooking, including a big gas BBQ. We loved the place and the area.

Perfect! Nothing lacking

We had a great week at The Bay Chalet. It had a great kitchen with everything we needed to cook all week, a clear beautiful pool, comfortable beds, and the channel kept our boys busy fishing with their new cast net. They caught a snook, two mystery fish, lots of mullet and a few catfish. (They used a pole too.) Stuart is a wonderful, thoughtful host and has a lovely home anyone would enjoy. Our family of five was very comfortable. Nokomis was a great place to vacation. Close to Venice and abot 35 minutes to Sarasota. We loved the north Jetty park and beach.

We really enjoyed our stay

The house was very clean and came equipped with all the basics that one might need. The setting was very nice on a little inlet that was nice and quiet. It is only a few minutes from restaurants and shops. The pool is nice but we were didn't use it as the weather was cool while we were there. We would stay there again if we needed to rent a place again.
