It’s perfectly situated for those who want to explore the local countryside and is also within easy reach of Camber Sands (7 miles). Keen walkers can enjoy exploring the local footpaths on offer, which lead you across the High Weald landscape. Alternatively, head into the nearby market town of Rye (3 miles), which boasts many independent shops and restaurants. Explore the medieval cobbled streets or while away an afternoon browsing the antique shops or savouring an afternoon tea. For those who want to venture further afield, hop in the car and take a trip to nearby Great Dixter Gardens (6 miles), Bodiam Castle (10 miles), or head into Hastings (15 miles) to enjoy the local seaside attractions.
The front door of this lovingly restored Victorian cottage opens into the welcoming lounge/diner, which features original beams and a wood burner – perfect for curling up on the comfortable sofa on chilly evenings. The kitchen beyond has a stunning vaulted ceiling and is well equipped with everything you may need for whipping up a romantic meal before dining at the pretty dining area, which overlooks the courtyard garden. Heading up a the set of cottage stairs, you will find two bedrooms: a spacious king-size and a cosy single. Also on this floor is a stylish shower room with a WC.
Heading outside, there is an enclosed courtyard garden with a patio table and chairs for enjoying a relaxed breakfast or evening meal in the sunshine. Parking is on-street, subject to availability.
