Lake View offers a modern home-from-home for family holidays, with calming views across Millbrook Lake and the Tamar Estuary. Arranged over three generous floors, there's plenty of space for everyone to be together, and room to spread out when needed!
On the first floor, the open-plan living area is the heart of the house, with a well-equipped kitchen for easy family meals, a dining space big enough for everyone, and a cosy sitting area with a wood-burning stove for board games and relaxed evenings. Open the patio doors and you can step straight out to the garden and terrace: a lawn for playtime, a patio with outdoor furniture for sunny breakfasts and barbecues, and a table tennis table to keep the kids entertained.
Downstairs the cinema room is perfect for a kids' movie night or a grown-up film once the little ones are asleep. You'll also find a handy utility room for beach gear, wetsuits and holiday laundry, plus a ground-floor WC.
The sleeping layout works especially well for families travelling together. On the second floor there are three bedrooms: a king-size master with TV, en-suite shower room and Juliet balcony, a super-king that can be set up as twins on request, and a third twin room that can convert to a king-size if needed. A spacious family bathroom on this floor includes both a bath and a large walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom is a ground-floor double, making it ideal for grandparents or anyone who'd prefer fewer stairs.
Outside, there's off-road parking for two cars, plus garage storage for bikes and surfboards. A cot and highchair are available, and bed linen and towels are included. Two pets are welcome for an additional charge.
Set in the peaceful Cornish village of Millbrook, you're well placed for relaxed days out and coastal adventures. Kingsand and Cawsand are around 1.5 miles away for pretty waterfront pubs, sheltered beaches and scenic walks, while the South West Coast Path is nearby for big sea views. The village pub and shop are just a couple of minutes' walk away, and Plymouth is easy to reach via the Torpoint ferry or passenger boat from Cremyll.
