This was our second stay, and probably won't be our last. It's so great to just let my kids be kids and play in the creek and unplug from everything. And we love that our dog gets to join in the fun!
We stayed for almost two weeks, and it was a wonderful experience! Our kids loved playing in the creek, and the property is so peaceful. Everything was setup perfect for having our family stay, and we will be booking this spot again! The owner is awesome at responding and so helpful!
The first “Snowmageddon” of 2025 kept us from staying at this lovely home. I kept in touch with Joe who was extremely helpful! He was quick to respond to my questions. We want to book again when the weather is nicer.
Everything was ok. It had rained pretty hard before we arrived and the first 2 days there so it was very muddy around the property. Didn’t like the long gravel road to get to the house.
My family had an amazing stay at Cozy Mountain. My 6 and 8 year olds were so excited to play in the creek. They caught crawfish and fish and frogs and just had fun in nature while I relaxed in the outdoor chairs. We also loved that our dog could come enjoy a vacation with us, and that they had toys for her. We loved how relaxing and secluded the space was, and we will definitely be back! We visited nearby Amicalola Falls and downtown Jasper.
This is our second time to rent this property. We had different experience because it was winter and very cold! Such a fun time again. We were able to use the fireplace and enjoy being inside more this time. I did hike almost every day even though I had to bundle up! A really beautiful property and very peaceful. The host is wonderful!
We had an amazing stay. The house is located at the end of a long gravel mountain lane and sets creek side. The property is secluded and very peaceful. The checkin process was smooth and seamless and communication was on point. The house is clean, comfortable and very accommodating. We had a wonderful time and since we have family in the area, we plan on rebooking in the future.
We were in town for a wedding at The Lodge at Old Mill and needed a VRBO for my family for the weekend. Cozy Mountain lodge was absolutely perfect! The property is very serene and peaceful and the cabin was fantastic! Very clean, very comfy, very cozy. I have little ones in m family and the house fit us perfectly. They even had a baby gate for the stairs! The host, Joe, was fabulous, answering questions so quickly before I confirmed my reservation and after. I have never encountered a more responsive and generous host. If you are looking for a nice get away with your family, Cozy Mountain is the place for you!
Really loved this place. Would absolutely stay again. In fact, I plan to! The creekside hammock was the best. My four year old grandson had the time of his life playing in the creek while the adults relaxed and enjoyed the peaceful, serene setting. So glad places like this exist.
We were all very pleased with the house, very clean and everything we needed for the 3 days. Our family is a big camping family so the fire pit was a great bonding time. We are going to keep your home in our files thinking of a family reunion.
Had a very relaxing weekend here. The house is beautiful and my dog Riley enjoyed the creek. The owners are amazing and good at communicating. I’m recommending this place to everyone I know.
The home and location exceeded our expectations. Even on a rainy weekend we found plenty to do- our kids spent hours playing in the creek finding salamanders, turtles, crawdads and racing homemade paper boats
This is one of the quietest and most relaxing houses I've rented. I really enjoyed the fire pit and hammock right next to the running river. The house is close enough to downtown Jasper and all the other conveniences, but far enough away to not be bothered by it. My pup Zeus thoroughly enjoyed being here as well!
Property is well cared for and the owner provided all the amenities (and then some ) for a pleasant stay.
The property provided serene, beautiful privacy - just what we were looking for! And a special thanks for the hidden Gnome garden - it was enchanting!
Very easy to communicate with the owner. He was quick to address any issues or answer any questions. The listing is very accurate and the directions make it very easy to get to. Great location to see the beautiful fall colors!
I cannot begin to explain how beautiful and peaceful this place was. It was quiet and so serine. I only wish that I had more time to explore the grounds. I will most defiantly be returning as soon as I can. The property owners are great! This place is a complete treasure and we can't wait to come back..

Very peaceful location and a spacious house. Our family of 5 enjoyed exploring the creek and woods around the property and had a nice time in the area. The owner was always quick to answer any questions and very helpful.
The property is well maintained and very clean. Even included blankets and bowls for the dogs. Very quiet, peaceful setting. Nice creek running along the property. A place we look to visit again.
We enjoyed four nights in Jasper with our daughter and son-in-law and their 3 and 6 year old daughters. The large property gave the girls plenty of safe space to roam and play in the creek, which is right out the front door. Evenings at the fire pit (wood provided!) with s’mores were terrific. Owner Joe was in touch to offer early check-in and then, once again, to be sure all was well.
This was a perfect place to reconnect with family and pets the night before we dropped off our son to start his AT thru-hike.

Why they chose this property
This home is such a relaxing place and I enjoy staying here when I can. The property is away from the hustle and bustle yet so close to shops, restaurants, and other attractions. We have wildlife, a beautiful creek, amazing landscapes, peace and quiet, and just a very calming space to relax and enjoy the simple things in life.
What makes this property unique
We have a small natural spring on the back side of the property, a large fire pit, an amazing tree canopy, sun room to relax in, large deck off of master bathroom, hammocks, front porch facing the creek, and so much more. The house has a rustic feel with some modern touches to it to make it a fun and relaxing place to visit.
