Family-Friendly Historic Oast House Garden & Log Burner. Pet Friendly.
Welcome to our Sussex family-friendly historic oast house, that dates back to the 13th century. Set in peaceful countryside with space to play, unwind, & truly switch off. Children can roam the garden, explore the outdoors, & enjoy fresh air, while adults relax by the fire & enjoy slow, quiet mornings with countryside views. This is a place for muddy boots, cosy evenings, long walks, & proper family time — ideal for school holidays, long weekends, & memory-making breaks away from the rush of everyday life.
There's a pool table, with combined dart board, gorgeous conservatory for family meals and games, a log burner and so much character you would expect from a grade 2 listed, 700 year old property. There are public footpaths from the cottage that will lead you in around 35 minutes to a fabulous traditonal English pub, The Blackboys Inn, and also Tickerage Winery which is around 40 minutes walk away.
Further afield you can day trip easily to discover the south coastal towns of Brighton or Eastbourne which are 30-40 minutes by car.
