Sloopside The Annexe - Bantham, S.Devon, central village location close to beach
The Annexe at Sloopside is a spacious and contemporary holiday cottage providing high-quality, comfortable accommodation. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Bantham village on the mouth of the Avon Estuary, the house is within easy walking distance of unspoilt Bantham Beach, popular with surfers, wild swimmers and other water sports enthusiasts. The historic 16th century Sloop Inn is a stone's throw from the front door. Stunning panoramic coastal views complete this beautiful place to stay.
The front door opens onto the entrance hall with storage for coats and shoes and a utility cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Just off to the left of the entrance hall are two well-appointed bedrooms that open onto the sunny garden. The principal bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and is furnished with a comfortable king-size bed built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Next door is the double bedroom with a king-size bed that also be arranged as twin single beds and freestanding wardrobe with drawers. Opposite is the family bathroom with basin, WC and a shower over the bath.
The living space upstairs is large, airy and open plan. The well-equipped kitchen area is complete with a large island and breakfast bar, induction hob, oven, combination microwave oven, large fridge with ice box and wine fridge; perfect for preparing meals to enjoy at the dining table with seating for six. Sliding doors from the dining area open onto the wraparound balcony with stunning countryside and sea views.
The living area has a smart TV and two leather sofas for relaxation. A wood-burning stove makes it cosy during the colder months.
Outside:
The sunny private garden has a patio area with table and bench seating and a large area of lawn lined with evergreen hedging and flowering plants that slopes gently down towards the wildflower garden. Sun loungers and a barbecue are also provided.
Parking:
