Hilton has been in the family since the 1940s, and we, Jeremy, Sarah and our daughter Iona, live in the main house. Lower Lodge is surrounded by our arable farm land, and you are welcome to walk around the edges of the fields. We also have a livery yard, so you will often see horses being ridden around the fields. We launched our 3 properties in 2025 after extensive renovations, and we are thoroughly enjoying the challenge of a new enterprise. Both Lower Lodge and The Barn are located via a single lane from the road, so are completely secluded. We are only a 2 min drive away if needed, but we don't interfere unless requested.

Why they chose this property

Fife is and incredibly easy place to live in Scotland, being only 10 miles from the coast, 9 miles from St Andrews, the home of golf and an hour's train journey into the centre of Edinburgh. The Scottish Highlands can be reached within 1.5 hrs, so there are a huge number of options for entertainment. Fife has over 40 golf courses.

What makes this property unique

Lower Lodge offers energy saving, spacious accommodation. The sun pours into this south facing property and you will often be living with the 3 sets of french doors wide open. The house is run by solar panels and air source, with a Tesla battery for back up power. There is luxury in every room for a truly comfortable stay. Outside you have a garden to the front and plenty of parking at the rear. If you need another bedroom, book The Barn too, there is plenty of living space in Lower Lodge for 6 people. All bedrooms have Super King beds, which can be separated into singles if required.
