The Space:
Set dramatically on the cliff’s edge in the charming village of Gorran Haven, this exceptional 6-bedroom coastal home enjoys some of the most breathtaking sea views in Cornwall. With panoramic ocean vistas visible throughout the property - from bedrooms and living spaces to balconies, patios, the garden and the summer house - this is a truly special place to stay. Positioned directly on the South West Coast Path, guests can step outside and enjoy miles of spectacular coastal walks, while Gorran Haven’s harbour, beach and local amenities are just a short stroll down the hill.
At the heart of the home is the bright open-plan kitchen and dining space on the ground floor. The brand new, high-spec kitchen is designed with larger groups in mind and features premium appliances including a dual oven, coffee machine, dishwasher and a large American-style fridge freezer with ice and water dispenser.
The adjoining dining area is surrounded by expansive windows that frame uninterrupted sea views, creating a stunning setting for meals together. The flexible space can be arranged for eight guests with a desk area or expanded to seat up to twelve.
The living areas offer plenty of space to relax. A cosy sitting room with a large bay window and cushioned seating invites you to unwind with a book while gazing out to sea, while the smart TV makes it perfect for movie nights. A second snug, stocked with books and games, offers a welcoming retreat for children or quieter moments.
Accommodation is thoughtfully arranged across the property. On the ground floor, you’ll find a double bedroom with a nearby shower room, plus a family suite featuring a double room leading into a bunk room with its own ensuite. Upstairs, the magnificent king-size master bedroom boasts a dressing room, an ensuite with bath and overhead shower, and a private decked balcony with sun loungers and panoramic sea views. It doesn't get much better! A twin bedroom with sea views and an ensuite with a bath completes the main house.
Outside, a separate studio provides an additional double bedroom with sea views and its own ensuite shower room. Well-suited to those wanting privacy from the main group.
The large cliff-edge garden is one of a kind. Explore the many seating areas and vantage points, with the highlight being the multi-levelled decking and patio. This idyllic spot with comfy seating and a charming summer house is perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. The mature conifer, towering over the garden and shaped by the prevailing wind, is truly unique.
To top it all off, find private parking for 3-4 cars, an open carport for storage, and a laundry room. Up to three dogs are welcome. This remarkable home is perfectly suited to memorable coastal gatherings.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to all areas, except for the shepherd's hut located in front of the house and its small, partitioned garden area. It is also bookable along with the house, should you want total privacy.

Nearby Caerhays Beach is another beautiful spot, set beside the historic Caerhays Castle and its stunning gardens. The castle grounds are particularly famous for their spring displays of camellias and magnolias.
For memorable day trips, visit the magical Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of Cornwall’s most fascinating garden restorations, where you can explore subtropical planting, woodland walks and the famous “sleeping giants” sculptures. The world-renowned Eden Project is also within easy reach, offering its iconic biomes, beautiful gardens and family-friendly exhibitions about nature and sustainability.
The charming fishing villages of Mevagissey and Portloe are nearby, both offering traditional harbours, fresh seafood restaurants and boat trips along the coast. Water lovers can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming in the calm waters around Gorran Haven’s own sandy beach, while wildlife watchers may spot seals and seabirds along the cliffs.
Whether you’re exploring coastal paths, relaxing on quiet beaches or discovering Cornwall’s famous attractions, Gorran Haven provides an unforgettable base for a truly special seaside holiday.
