The Space:

Ash is a single-storey safari tent consisting of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with a woodburning stove, kettle and freezer box, a dining area with seating for four guests and sitting area. There is one family bedroom with a double and bunk, serviced by a shower room. Outside, there is a private front lawn with furniture and wood-fired hot tub, a fire pit and barbecue, front decking and access to surrounding fields, and off-road parking is available. Within 2.9 miles, you will find a shop and within 0.5 miles, a pub and please note that one well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen all included. Towels do need to be rented however. Ash is an impressive base for your next retreat in Devon. Note: This property does not have electricity, the woodburning stove doubles up as an oven. Note: There is also a laundry room and shop on-site that sells basic necessities. Note: The owner offers pizza oven cooking and farm tours. Please note: This property only accepts check-ins on a Friday or Monday. Please note: This property does not offer towels for free, they will either need to be hired on site, or brought yourself.



The Neighborhood:

Dalwood is a small rural village resting in East Devon, among the idyllic Blackdown Hills AONB. Its facilities include a traditional pub serving food as well as a general store. Close by are some of Devon's most popular attractions. The market town of Axminster, lined with fine buildings, offers much to the visitor including an excellent range of amenities and a fascinating museum. To the western side of the Blackdown Hills you will find another market town, Honiton also holds much charm along with a museum and an art gallery. After your dose of undulating countryside, walking and cycling, you may wish to head to the coast, nearby there is a choice of wonderful seaside spots including Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. All come which their own individual character and promise a fun-packed day trip to the beach with their activities and opportunities on offer.
