Country house with private pool is rented in menorca for weeks with capacity for 8 people. located in a very quiet area near mahón and south coast beaches such as binibeca, punta prima, binisafuller. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms all on the ground floor (above is closed). It has a living room with satellite TV, kitchen with dishwasher, laundry room with washing machine, living room and hall. It has closets in all the rooms and in one of marriage it has a safe.
Outside there is a patio with table and umbrella and a barbecue. the pool of 8 x 4 m. It has a terrace with sun loungers and umbrella surrounded by typical woodland. It has ample car parking. The house is delivered with sheets and towels and there is the possibility of house cleaning, towels and sheets once a week on demand for stays longer than one week.

Francisco's house is set back from a road that is a 20 minute walk into Mahon and only 15 minutes away from the airport by car. It is very quiet and private, clean, spacious and charming. There are no restaurants within a very short walk so be prepared to hire a car, use taxis or walk 20 -30 minutes into town to find a restaurant.Francisco is a friendly, helpful host and responded quickly to any queries we had.

Lovely tranquil villa

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. The location is fantastic… about a 25 minute walk from the centre of Mahon so peaceful but very close to amenities. Villa has a rustic charm… the pool is clean and very welcome after a morning stroll into the centre. The only recomendation I would make is if the host could leave a little welcome basket, some salt and pepper and hand soap would be fab!

Beautiful old quirky property, with loads of inside & outside space. Beautiful pool. Scrupulously clean. If you want mod-cons, this isn’t the place for you . But if you want a charming characterful private space within 30 minutes walking distance of Mahón, this is the one. Francisco was an utterly charming host, and we managed to communicate with some (very limited ) Spanish & some miming, making check in and out a delight. The traditional internal layout of the bedrooms could be a challenge for a group of 8, but perfect for up to 7.

We had a wonderful stay at Santa Magdalena with our two young children. The location is perfect - incredibly private but right on the edge of Mahon and walkable into the center of town. There are beautiful beaches less than a 15 minute drive away and lots of shops etc within a few minutes’ drive. The well maintained pool provided endless hours of fun for our family. Francisco is lovely and very responsive, replying to queries straight away and even heading out to buy a replacement coffee machine the same morning we mentioned the one in the villa was broken. Worth mentioning for anyone travelling with a family that the villa is light on accessories - no books, games, toys or pool equipment - so best to pack plenty of your own or plan to buy some at the Aldi nearby. We had a constant battle with ants in the kitchen. I’m told that’s true of a lot of homes in Menorca this time of year, especially those that are older and more rural, but a bit of sealing around the kitchen window might help. That said, it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the house and our holiday. We will definitely be back for another stay!

A lovely stay at the house so well located for Mahon, beaches and the countryside

The house has a simple charm about it and it very much connects to it's original history of being a farmhouse for a large farm. This means the layout of the house is unusually adapted to be for larger groups to stay, with a central bedroom with only internal windows, but it allows it to keep it's authenticity. The pool is great, particularly for children, although you can not see the pool from the house at all. Plus there is not much shade around the pool. There are lots of nice areas to sit around the house with different views, and plenty of chairs. A very cool large bbq area close to the kitchen too. The kitchen is quite basic, which goes with the rustic charm but could get a little frustrating if catering for larger groups. This is the only house I have stayed in that keeps a countryside feeling yet you can easily walk into the centre of Mahon in 20-25minutes which is a real plus. There are no neighbours nearby so if you have noisy children playing in the pool there is no need to worry. Overall a lovely authentic house with good amenities and close to Mahon.

Superbe maison isolée dans la banlieue de Mahon

La propriété est très bien. Les équipements sont tous neufs, les lits très confortables. Barbecue et piscine. On peut aller manger à pied à Mahon le soir. Tout très bien juste deux inconvénients : une des chambres n a pas de fenêtre et n est accessible que en passant par la chambre des parents. Et l usine d à côté fait un peu de bruit en journée. Par contre on n entends pas du tout les avions malgré la proximité de l aeroport. Le propriétaire est très sympathique. Je recommande
