We are John and Christina and are delighted to host you to at Inverarnie Lodge! John is native to the Highlands of Scotland and Christina moved here 20 years ago from London! We bought Inverarnie Lodge in 2019 when it was in a sorry state of disrepair having been empty for almost 60 years.

We decided to transform it into a spectacular home and gardens with a guest wing which we now call The West Wing! After several years of extensive renovation we welcomed our first guests in June 2026. John has a background in property renovation and Christina has experience of interior design. Together we have created the wonderful property for your perfect getaway!

Every season brings something special, from snow-capped mountains in winter to long summer evenings filled with stunning sunsets and wildlife.

Living just 15 minutes from Inverness gives us the best of both worlds. We enjoy the tranquillity and natural beauty of the Highlands while still being close to all the amenities, shops, restaurants, and attractions of the Highland capital. Inverness is a vibrant city with a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful riverside walks, and excellent transport links for exploring the wider region.

From our location, some of Scotland’s most famous destinations are within easy reach, including the legendary Loch Ness, the dramatic landscapes of Glen Affric, the Cairngorms National Park, and the spectacular North Coast 500 route. Whether you enjoy walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, wildlife watching, or simply relaxing and taking in the views, there is something for everyone.

Inverarnie Lodge’s fascinating history combined with the care and attention that has gone into its restoration. Originally built in 1869 for the Laird of Inverarnie, the lodge has been a distinctive part of the local landscape for more than 150 years. Its character, charm, and heritage can still be felt throughout the property today.

When we acquired the lodge, we saw an opportunity to preserve its history while creating a comfortable and luxurious retreat for modern guests. We carefully renovated the property, retaining many of its original features and traditional Highland character wherever possible, while introducing contemporary comforts and high-quality furnishings. Our aim was to respect the building’s heritage while ensuring guests enjoy everything needed for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Set in a peaceful Highland location, Inverarnie Lodge offers a rare opportunity to stay in a property with genuine historical significance. From its origins as a residence connected to the local estate to its transformation into a welcoming holiday retreat, the lodge tells a story that spans generations.
